A Walled Lake Hidden Gem!
BY FAR the best breakfast/lunch spot. I recently started going to Woodys within the last month and I can’t stay away! Every time I’ve gone in I’m greeted with all smiles and immediate service. (Melissa) seems to always be my waitress and she does an amazing job every time I go. (Tim), who is the owner and cook is the sweetest man. He always makes sure to come out of the kitchen after the food has been served and check on how the customers are doing. This gives Woodys a very family oriented feel as the same employees are always here and they are all family.
The atmosphere of Woodys is old timey.. but in a good way! If you look around Woodys you will see old photographs depicting images of Walled Lake in the early 90s. You will also see old photos of the original owner Woody.
The menu is absolutely astounding. The food is all handmade by Tim. The house fries/hash browns are cut by hand fresh every morning.
On this particular day I decided to try the “Make your own skillet”. They have so many ingredients to choose from. It’s a guaranteed hit!
Next thing to try on my list is the breakfast charcuterie board!! Never have I heard of such a thing.

Quick friendly service, and awesome pancakes! Didn’t get my server’s name, but she is new (been there about 5 days). She was great.

This little gem is pretty awesome! I have driven by it many times but never stopped. Happen to meet my daughter there for lunch one day, and we all had breakfast. Homemade gravy and the potatoes were tasty! Cook/owner (?) was really friendly and checked on us after we got our food. Waitress was sweet also. I will be back to try something new!!

Amazing. We went a while ago and we loved it, the guy who owns the place is so nice, my grandpa and him talked for a while. It's amazing, the foods good, and overall 10/10 would recommend

I could not believe how amazing the food was. Had it delivered and the food looked like it was straight out of a commercial. It was fresh, still warm and the pancakes were soft and amazing. There was not any part of the meal where I said this is “decent”, it was more like 🤯🥹 Definitely gonna be my new go to place for ordering. Do NOT hesitate to order from this awesome location!

Blueberry pancakes are amazingly delicious! Sausage gravy is flavorful and filling served with homemade flaky biscuits and I ordered poached eggs although the scrambled is also my favorite option.

Coffee refills are hot and endless so needed to kick our busy Saturday in gear.

My guest had a dish that added potatoes and cheese to his skillet dish oooh my. Tasty!

Glad you’re back.

Best Breakfast I’ve had on this side of town. They accommodated everything I needed and they have HOME FRIES NOT HASHBROWNS Which ROCKS!!!! Some of the best breakfasts ever are at what people to refer as HOLE IN THE WALL DINERS. This is under that classification but it super NICE LIKE A UP NORTH SMALL DOWNTOWN DINER LOVE IT HIT THE SPOTS!!!!!!! After eating the whole thing I will say BEST BREAKFAST IVE HAD IN ATLEAST A DECADE!!!! Kudos to Owner Chef Staff and even the Regulars in there were SUPER NICE AND COOL. I live 65 miles east of here I would Drive 130 mile total for there BREAKFAST!!!!!!!! Must TRY U WONT REGRET IT

Clean, homie vibe. Warm hospitality. Super cute waitress, and delicious delicious food. This is such a treat after the DISASTER that was my lunch yesterday. These small, independent eateries are becoming few and far between. Owner works hard to provide unique and delicious menu options. (Kendi is a sweetheart!)

We had the best experience stopping in here for the first time this morning. We will be back for sure! The staff is super friendly and even specially cut up fruit for my 1 year old daughter. They were, what could have been overwhelmingly, busy but our food came out quickly and everyone was working together to make things run smoothly. Great breakfast and even better service! Highly recommended!!

They cut they're own potatoes! And the lady serving us was so so sweet. The chef in the back came up front and told us about the food and seemed really proud of the food. Which. You can really tell he loves to cook AND the food was amazing. 14/10 I'll be back every week ❤

My favorite breakfast spot. Good friendly service. The food is better than ever. The new owner is doing a great job at making this restaurant a must stop spot.
