The Dog House Bar & Grill

Went to get lunch for my sister and I, ordered 2 cheeseburgers and fries. Thought 33 bucks was pretty steep for just burgers and fries, but what a burger! 5 inches easily across the burger, 1/2 inch thick, made of real locker plant meat, not Aldies or Walmart stuff. The fries were made fresh from potatoes, not out of a bag. The burger they made was worth every penny, and was delicious, and filling! I am definitely coming back for another, again and again! WOW! Thank you !

Great little dive bar. Fries really are the best! Fantastic burgers and onion rings too. Huge assortment of bottled beverages in addition to tap beets and hard alcohol. Outdoor patio is clean and spacious as well as dog friendly.

The food was awesome! Everyone with our group had 0 complaints on the food. We came after a baseball game and the bartender and cook were great and took the minor chaos in stride. I had the gyro and fries which exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back.

The food is amazing - leaving me always craving more but get stuffed by the time I am finished. Real meat purchased locally. Bartenders are always welcoming and set clear boundaries that are logical for a growing bar. The owner, Nate, is the best and always giving fist bumps. Always leaving with a smile and memories.

Fantastic place for birthdays and has the best burgers. I'll easily go out of my way to get them.

Stopped because it's dog friendly and was very happy with the food! No issue with special order on a burger and the chicken sandwich was great! Will return again!

Looking for something fun to do on a summer wednesday night? We go for the car cruise in and live music on the patio, always a great time! Nate and his staff are both friendly and efficient!

A friend and I decided to do bar crawl in mount horeb this was our first and last stop we loved it so much we came back til closing. Bartenders were super nice (even tho we probably over stayed our welcome they weren’t rude about it) the happy hour bucket with the tickets was a great idea. Props to whoever thought of that. The loaded poppers were amazing and the maxwell polish was legit a maxwell polish. As a Chicagoan that was a huge plus. The people who you could tell are regulars were all cool. Definitely a good vibe. We will be back for sure!

Nate is one of the best bar tenders in the area and now he owns the bar. He cares about his business and his customers and is always doing fun things and hosting themed events. Big fan of the summer car shows. Been a long time patron and I plan on being one for a long time

We made our first trip to the Dog House to eat and check out the car cruise and we weren't disappointed. About 25 or so vehicles which I was told was a little down but still a nice turn out so we'll be back and next time I'll bring the Mopar. We had cheeseburgers and fries and they were awesome! One of the best we've had anywhere. I highly recommend it!

Excellent burgers and really good cocktail sauce for the shrimp on Friday's. A small, but surprising selection of high end bourbons and Irish whiskey. Friendly people. Wednesday is the cruise in, which has some unique cars from the area.

Definitely recommend. Awesome service! Great drinks! Didn't eat at that time, but will next time!

If you're looking for that Bar Burger,this is the place,huge,done perfect,delicious. Dang good fries.Small grill, so patience needed when busy.

Best bar in Mount Horeb by far! Everyone is always welcome! It's THE place to go regardless of the mood, or reason. Friendly atmosphere, and seriously the best burgers EVER! I won't go anywhere else. Sandbags in the summer, pool and darts whenever. I've never been disappointed, or had a bad experience. Bartenders are so friendly and engaging, as are the patrons. Also, they have an amazing Halloween party with costume contest. It's a must see!

First timer meat raffle experience was great. Food looked and smelled delicious. Everyone was great, staff and customers alike!

Great drinks, great atmosphere, friendly crowd, and attentive service. Phenomenal spicy chicken sandwich, probably the best I’ve ever had in my short 30 years of life.

Even tho they were crowed, theres a reason 4 that. Food freshly cooked per order also fries..we ate at the grumpy troll day b4, cold food, and still payed a lot to eat there!
They comped my meal & still paid $35 for 2 ppl. What a RIP off. If food was good, I wud b happy...
