This place is PHENOMENAL! I collect at stores all over the county. A place like this tends to overprice “holy grail” type items cuz they can. Cuz they have them. Retro-Taku not only has an unbelievable selection of high end items, but they are ALL priced competitively! It’s so great. Retro-Taku is a gem. It’s obvious they are passionate about gaming. I’ve had amazing experiences and conversations at both locations multiple times (in the last few days! I kept coming back 😂😂😂) One of my favorite stores in all I’ve been to. My favorite place. As being a retro-gamer, I am stopping by every weekend to look for a great old games. The prices are very affordable, for example, PC games and DVDs are 1 dolar..The staff is also very friendly, so I prefer this place every one who is interested in retro-gaming, collection etc.

This store is amazing, they have so many games to choose from for any console. They have tested and working consoles for sale and everything you need to go with them. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable, they answered every question I had and more. The amount of rare games they have is insane, I will definitely be back soon! I highly recommend this store if you are a gamer or collector.

This place is amazing. There’s a huge incredible selection to look at! I’m back with my son for the second time in 24 hours. I can’t get him to leave on this second visit!The staff is amazing as well. I’ll be back! This place has game systems from the beginning of time, hundreds if not thousands of games, cords for every single thing video games ever made, cool character stuff, those super sweet Nintendo doormats, D&D dice, and some anime stuff!

Great selection of retro games for good prices. I found two games from my childhood for the PS1, both games are for sale online for $30+, but they were $11 a game in store. Was able to pick up a retro game for my partners collection for a good price, which will make a great Xmas gift. Friendly and amusing staff. Will be back.

Retro-Taku's staff has always helped me with my insanely specific searches! They've got a wiiiiide stock to choose from and have been kind enough to provide me with precious tips to continue to find each and every game on my wishlist. They support local artists too! Highly recommend! 🤩

This store is so great. My son and I enjoy their incredible selection of new and classic games. If you grew up playing video games in the 80’s or 90’s, do yourself a favor and stop in for a trip down memory lane.

If they don't have it, either you don't need it or they can't legally sell it. This place is the best for whatever old game systems you have running or want to get running. Cannot possibly recommend them enough. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their selection puts Gamestop to shame.

They have a lot of very useful hardware for improving any retro collection! Also came in to trade in some of my old games and got a great offer of in-store credit

I had heard good things about this place from multiple friends of mine. I was finally able to stop in last week and let me tell you I wish I hadn't waited so long. On top of a great selection of classic games, this place may have the BEST selection of sealed Switch titles that I've ever seen in person. Collectibles were reasonably priced, and I very much appreciated the amount of card/tabletop games. I highly recommend this store and absolutely will be back myself soon!

Absolutely amazing place. If you need anything to do with any game console I can even think of they have it. I went here because I needed a random assortment of cables and adapters for some 10 and 20 year old consoles and they had every thing I needed. I also purchased a handful of games and I expected them to work, but what I didn't expect was the quality. I have never seen a more clean disk used in my entire life. I have purchased games used for years ever since I started at blockbuster. These games looked new, all of them. These games some of which being 16 years old looked brand new out of a sealed case!!! I could not be happier with my experience here not to mention how everything is priced very fairly and competitively. I could not give another store a higher recommendation for your gaming needs or even to just look around at the history of what they have available.

Came in to drop off flyers for a pro wrestling event, and this place is STUNNING. Retro games and hardware and peripherals that I have never even heard of. Demo stations for retro consoles and clone consoles, including a really cool Gameboy home console clone.

I feel like I could spend all day there and the staff was very kind and willing to help. Will definitely return in the future!

My boyfriend and I love the Retro-Taku! This is the best Retro-Taku I've been to. It has a very nice staff, I love the table where you can play classic games, and they have a very good selection of old games!

I've lived in this area for over 12 years and have seen a few retro game stores come and go, this place is by far the best! If you're into collecting retro video games, they have a pretty huge selection going back to the Magnavox Odyssey. Every time I go in I find some random, obscure game that I didn't know I needed. They also have a wide variety of accessories and parts for consoles and controllers. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable too, I always feel welcome when I walk in. I highly recommend this place to any gamers out there, even if you just want something like a doormat in the shape of SNES controller, they got you covered.

It's great to see another Retro-Taku store open up. Just like the other location this store has a great selection on both retro and modern games and the employees are very informative and friendly.
Their display case full of Japanese import games is a definite must see if you ever stop in here as it's not something you see often in Michigan game stores.
