Hot Fish Club

First time here the food was amazing. Fast service. Fast kitchen. I had Lobster Pot Pie. My daughter had crab legs. My son had the sea bass. My daughter love crab legs but said she would get lobster pot pie after she had a few bites.. Jillian our server was awesome.

Truly an institution, Hot Fish Club has excellent service, friendly ambiance, and you won't go home hungry! I took on the lobster pot pie, and it was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh. Our server was very friendly and professional, and despite it being pretty crowded, our orders were taken quickly and came out just as quick...no complaints all around. The steam pot is also massive!
The parking lot is rather large, but seems to fill up fast during peak hours; there's also a nice little park next to the restaurant. Definitely recommend and will be back!

We are on vacation and one of the businesses we visited recommended this place. The first night we came we couldn’t find parking so decided to try again. Am I glad we did. There was about a 45-60 minute wait. We enjoyed the live music and just walked the area which made the wait pleasurable. The food was definitely worth the wait. Our server Julian was such a pleasure and made the whole experience even better. What a way to spend my pre-birthday celebration.

We went to the Gazebo at the Hot Fish Club for dinner and it was amazing! The service was phenomenal. Our server Jacob gave us great recommendations for the food - I got the char grilled grouper, and my husband got the red snapper. There was some awesome live music happening outside as well. The location is great located right on the water with a neat place to hang out while waiting for your table if you need to. Highly recommend eating here, it’s a fantastic experience!

A nice restaurant with some unique food for travelers. If you're in town and can give it a try, it's worth a shot. Prices are a little steep if you're looking for affordable dining. But you get very good high quality food and it tastes great.

Food and service were both top notch. Yellowfin tuna dish was excellent. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, but the crowd on a Friday night at 5:30 was to be expected. Our party got sat right next to the outgoing door for food to the outside seating area. A minor inconvenience for the AC in our corner of the building, but overall didn't really affect the meal. Highly recommended restaurant for both casual and semi-formal experience.

The bacon cheeseburger was the best burger I've ever had, also lightly blacked grouper with lobster risotto and spinach!!! Sat at outside bar with Jay and Zach huge shout out to these to amazing bartenders that were beyong helpful friendly and just amazing men! Thank you to all staff for the great experience!!!

Tuna Poke Bowl was phenomenal!!! Their sushi very delicious. We had the Spider Roll. Our waiter recommended the other one. Very excellent. We sat in the gazebo where it was facing the marshes. Very causal atmosphere.

Had an absolutely fabulous dinner on our last visit to Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful view of the inlet, and terrific waiter (sadly, I can't remember his name). Our group ordered the seafood platter, crab cakes, fried oysters and grilled scallops. Everything was amazing, and perfectly prepared. We ended with a piece of key lime pie, which I highly recommend. This was our first time, but definitely not our last.

Very nice Restaurant with excellent food. If you’re going for dinner make a reservation they get very busy.

Hot Fish Club (founded 1792 ~232 years of doing business) justly earns its high rating. It is popular as evidenced by the busy parking lot. We were quickly ushered to a table. Service was a touch slow to start but then became fast and efficient. Alex our server was great. We thought we would do something different from the usual Salmon and Mahi Mahi and went for the Sea Bass and Red Snapper, kicking the meal off with the beet salad. OMG, all were fantastic. The beet salad was large enough for two and outstanding. The Sea Bass was super buttery flavored, literally melt in your mouth with outstanding golden crispiness on the outside, probaby the best tasting fish that I've ever had. However, the portion size was a bit small so my wife shared from her generously-sized red snapper. Both fish were served on a bed of Risotto with asparagus, and a few red pepper slices and greens. Beautifully done. Meal ran ~$45 each plus tip, but if you drink anything other than water or do dessert, expect the tab to jump accordingly. Highly recommend.

I have eaten at a lot of places while visiting Myrtle Beach, and I have to say I am very thankful someone recommended this place. The food is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

This is an awesome spot to get dinner. We all loved our food. They have a full bar and some fun cocktails. It is a little on the pricier side but well worth it. They have beautiful murals on the walls and live music out back. I got the Alaskan snow crab and it was delicious. Everyone else I was with enjoyed their food as well.

You may need to call and get a reservation on busier nights we got one just to be safe but it didn't seem like there was a large queue.

The food is exceptional. The servers and hosts are great. The prices are reasonable for the value of the seafood dishes. Highly recommend making a reservation as this is a very popular place. The dining area is very busy and loud, so you will not be having a quiet meal.

Second time (2 days later), at this restaurant and the food again was amazing. Great service from Cece who was excellent. Once again the snow crab was amazing. The surf and turf steak was melt in your mouth. Definitely highly recommend this restaurant.

Great place! Food awesome. Did not expect sushi on menu, but it was also outstanding. Excellent service. My wife and I dined there three times during our stay. And the prices are right! Highly recommend.

Bradley was our server. I ordered a side salad, shrimp tacos (wonderful!!), and fries. My sister ordered the seafood platter or hot fish sampler.
Everything was good, but, I was too full for the great dessert options. Definitely would dine there again. The atmosphere was great! Thanks, Bradley for the great service.

My wife enjoyed surf and turf with fried shrimp. I had blackened mahi topped with crab meat. Both meals were excellent. The service was very attentive but not overbearing. Treated nicely by the bartender who made great margaritas.

Great place. Food, service, views very nice. Jackson very good server. Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Pot Pie and the Seafood Pasta (great sauce) really enjoyed. Only suggestion would be to clean windows on the lower porch past the main dining room - the view of the Inlet would be even better. Thanks for a great birthday meal.

My wife and I finally had an opportunity to dine here. Staff is attentive and friendly. Cindy, one of the owners, works to be certain that guests have a spectacular dining experience.
Some items are pricey, BUT you are given large portions. S9nce it was our first visit, we ordered a sampler for an appetizer. My wife had the lobster tails, and I had the Seafood Ciopinno. We both had plenty to carry home. Since this was our anniversary, we got a slice of Key Lime Pie to take home also. It's one of the creamiest I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
This place is definitely a place to visit!
