Nice sitting area, foods are delicious. I love all that I ordered. I enjoy sitting outside with the view of the water . The calamari is very delicious . Fried oysters are bíg in size and juicy. The grits is one of the best I’ve had. I will definitely come back again when I’m in town.

This place looks like a nice little inner coastal place to relax and grab a bite. It's much more than that!!!♡♡♡ It has amazing food 🌯🥗🥑🍛🥪🍔🍝🥐🦐🍤🌮, and GREAT staff. Our server was amazing. She made sure we got our happy hour drinks 🍸 🍷🧉🍹, two each, because we only had 5 more minutes of happy hour when we arrived. It was busy, but no one acted like it, which is hard to do and very calming for us who used to work as servers. I would recommend going closer to sunset🌞🌅☀, the view of that is beautiful!!!♡♡♡

Food is cooked perfectly, lot of flavor, plus they bring you a basket of bread that is amazing.

This is our second year coming to Aunt Kate's. Love it! The food is so so so good! It's fresh and delicious but it doesn't feel too fancy- pants. Just great seafood at decent prices.

We stopped at Aunt Kate’s for lunch after spending a couple of hours enjoying the beach in Vilano. It is right on the inter coastal and we were lucky enough to score an immediate seat on their patio overlooking the water.

Aunt Kate’s is casual enough to step in beach attire but offers fresh seafood for those looking for a more upscale meal. I decided on a cheeseburger while my lovely wife had a couple of apps…fried green tomatoes and ahi tuna. Both hit the spot. I should also note that they bring out an assortment of breads including a very moist pumpkin bread and cornbread with a hint of jalapeño.

Our server was Aoife and she was very attentive. I had ordered my burger medium rare and it came out a little closer to medium. Aoife noticed that after I had taken a bite or two and proactively came over to ask if I would like to have a new burger. It was so nice of her. That type of service usually only occurs in a higher end steakhouse. I declined her kind offer as I thought the burger was delicious.

I think a lot of people only think of Cap’s when near Vilano and wanting to eat on the water. I offer that Aunt Kate’s is a worthy competitor and certainly a place to consider when going out for lunch or dinner. We recommend it.

We loved our meals. I had the catfish fingers and slaw. Best ever! Hubby had the mahi Reuben. He said it was great. Our meals were served with cornbread and fresh pumpkin cake for dessert.

We brought our boat down from Jacksonville through the ICW docked right up to thier backyard. The people feel like family and the food brings back home grown memories.

This place is absolutely amazing. Every time I go to Florida, I have to go and eat there. I even go out of my way. I love the service and the atmosphere is great. The prices are very fair for what you get. Mahi Catch is the best!

Great place for families and big groups. Delicious pumpkin and cornbread. Great salads and seafood. Peach cobbler was our favorite but the key lime pie was also good.

One of my buddies recommended this place and I'm glad he did... Just wish there was more than 4 claims in the meal but it was pretty tasty.. Crab cakes we're cooked to perfection 👌

Food was excellent, a variety of seafood as well as the things you'd usually expect from restaurants (sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc).
We had a seafood platter, gator tail, fish dip, and a brownie sundae. Each of them were great the seafood was delicious and the brownie was hot with a cold scoop on top.
We went with our dogs and sat outdoors, which allowed us to witness a beautiful sunset over the intercoastal.
The hostess and waitress were both friendly and helpful, giving suggestions where asked and quick to assist with any requests.

We will be back soon! The hosts were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, fresh. There are so many yummy options to choose from. The location is easy to find gorgeous. The outdoor patio is a great spot for dinner!

We got the captains platter and the coconut shrimp.. Excellent. Old oak trees are growing through the back porch on the water side. Best view outside lots of history to read and see on the walls inside. You can walk around to read them.

Had an amazing time at Aunt Kates. It was a chilly evening but the hostess graciously pulled the heater closer to our table which was very considerate. The views are perfect especially during sunset. Make sure to take a stroll to the pier and take in the views. Our waiter was attentive and the food was great. They bring you sweet bread right after you sit (if not ask for it) Not sure the name of the breads in the bread basket but they are sweet and bring a sweet sauce that is perfect for dipping. I actually had that as desert when I finished my meal, lol. Uncle Dave’s Lemonade was very refreshing with the right amount of alcohol. I had the gator tail which was surprisingly tender and it was lightly fried which made it more enjoyable than any I’ve ever had before. Also had the famous Menorcan Clam Chowder (Red) which warmed me up well. My wife had the grilled shrimp with vegetables and mashed potatoes which she enjoyed very much, trust me she is very picky about her shrimp and how it’s cooked. All in all it was a highlight to our St Augustine trip and we are definitely making it our go-to whenever we visit.

The home feel and accommodating staff were awesome. There was a stunt plane flying in the distance the location was off the busy highway so it was not overly busy. Had pagers for when your table was ready. Lots of comfortable seating inside and out. The food was great and came out quickly. I had the she crab soup highly recommend. The clam strips were perfect. And the blackened mahi tacos had just the right kick and zing. Followed by a peach cobbler it was a great experience.

Attended a prenuptial dinner there. Very nice atmosphere. Food was well done and good. Staff was extremely helpful. Everything went off without a hitch.

I cannot speak to the general menu. Based on our prenup dinner food, I'm guessing it would be very good.

What an amazing restaurant with a wonderful view. This is some of the best seafood we have had. I had the grilled sampler platter, and everything was perfect. Everything was seasoned and cooked properly. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

The wait staff was very friendly and efficient.

You won't leave hungry. The proportions are quite generous.

Some of the best she crab soup I have ever had. I mean, it was rich and creamy and full of chunks. The fish tacos were good, but would have been better with more pico/salsa. The calamari was really good and hit the spot. The real winner was the pumpkin bread though. That hit the spot and was complimentary which was a pleasant surprise. We ate outside because the weather was nice, but know the resident squirrel likes pumpkin bread.
