Osaka Hartselle

The food was very good. I enjoyed the rolls and hibachi 😋 I do wish there were more drink options. Next time, we will try the other rolls and foods on the menu. Oh, and the desserts!

My favorite restaurant in Hartselle! Me and my boyfriend had dinner here last night and our waitress was AMAZING. Best service I’ve had in a long time. She was so professional and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also great! The family that owns it is super cute and I wish them all the best. If you haven’t yet I would definitely recommend you give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

The very first time my wife and I went to Osaka it was a couple of weeks after it first opened and things did not go very well, but let me tell you we went back yesterday and it was an amazing experience! It was like two different restaurants. The staff was super friendly and attentive , the food was delicious and brought out not long after ordering and the prices are not bad at all! Osaka has definitely restored my faith in them and their restaurant and we will be coming back more often!

We ordered the miso soup and ginger salad which were very refreshing and we ordered the volcano roll the deep fried California roll and the snow mountain roll and mannnnn they were to die for! Delicious! 🤤 😋

My wife is pregnant and ordered her a side of noodles and steak filet and they were delicious as well!

I been to place for about a year now ,and we'll all I can say TRY CRUNCHY CRAB ROLL NOW (thunder noises) I SWEAR this roll the must underrated and best sushi roll IN THIS WORLD🌏🌏🌍🌍 the manager of this place (kevin I think his name is) is such a nice guy and I think he makes the sushi rolls , but if I could THIS GUY WOULD BE MY PERSONAL CHEF👨‍🍳 the food is so scrumbus. Best restaurant in hartselle, and I'll even put it on my GREAT GRAND MA 😋

The owners (kevin and Joyce) are wonderful people and the food is the best you will taste in this county. Try the osaka roll with a side of eel sauce, its perfection. They also sell sake and beer and wine now. Great staff and excellent food that wont break the bank

Food was great as was the service and atmosphere, wish I had found this place sooner but will definitely be back now that I do know. Came from Decatur and they drive was well work the experience!

The food was very good, the scenery was amazing I loved the decorations. Our waiter sussana, was amazing. Good portions, little family own the place and they are super nice. Food was very good. Many tvs 📺 to watch TV while you eat. Comfortable booths. Very nicely priced, the pricing wasn't bad for a lot of portions. I recommend. The fried California roll. I hope you try this place out

Cozy Oriental decorated Japanese restaurant perfect for date night or family meal. It was my first time ordering a bento box. The portions were enough for 3 people. The mixed vegetables, cooked in a light sauce, were the best flavor I've eaten. The large tempura shimps had a thin batter. The dumplings were cook to perfection and delicious. I'm looking forward to going back to try their sushi, calamari, and octopus. Who I'm I kidding? I want to try everything at this restaurant.

Extremely welcoming, friendly staff working in a beautiful and tidy restaurant area. The fish was so fresh and delicious! The presentation of the dishes were also very pretty and detailed. Honestly, this was the tastiest, freshest sushi I have ever had (I even used to live in California and this beat any sushi restaurant over there.) I tried the sashimi dinner plate with miso soup. My fiance had 2 special rolls, and we shared the takoyaki (also the best takoyaki I've ever had as well!!) We will be coming back when we want to have some delicious, refreshing sushi. Keep up the great work Osaka restaurant!

Great sushi, large rolls and nigiri for the price. Kevin the sushi chef is top notch! Not only is it great, but also beautiful plating!

The nicest home owned restaurant North Alabama should cherish! The bathroom has a 1-hour check list for making sure everything is nice & clean.. every hour. Also it shows the level of try & care in what their doing! Seafood, especially Sushi rolls taste like it's straight from The Gulf, less than 24 hrs from catch. *I know this bc my dad's family is from the Eastern Seaboard - and having multiple "traditional" Chinese meals, you notice the freshness of the steamed / raw / chilled seafood. This establishment is the only restaurant I've tasted that outside NYC and other Coastal cities with daily hauls coming in fresh 365.

Great value, $12 lunch special is a load of food on combo's. Very well run establishment! I'll be back.. soon!

My sushi and sashimi dinner was wonderful! Everytime I eat here, I am impressed with the taste and I love the extra effort that is put into presentation.

This is the best sushi restaurant in north Alabama. Their hibachi is also great. Everything has always been fresh and tasty. The staff and the owners are always very friendly and welcoming. We frequent this place weekly and have always had superior food and service.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever eaten the food is absolutely amazing and it’s a good amount for what you pay for it. The waitress was very good at taking our order and making sure our drinks stayed refilled and made sure we had what we needed.

We eat here at least once a week. The food is always excellent and the service is great. The owners Joyce and Kevin are always pleasant and friendly.

We had the hibachi lunch and it was great!! My filet was cooked perfectly! The service was awesome! Kaitlyn was a very attentive server!! Will definitely be back!!

Ordered a few dishes to go from here for the first time. When I arrived I asked for extra soy sauce, they brought over a few packets and I asked for more. The gentleman seemed apprehensive and stated that they had yum yum sauce in the bag. Let me just say, he was right. The rice was seasoned to perfection! Everything was hot, fresh and super delicious. I will definitely be back again and again!

Came here for the first time ever and the food was really good. the crab rangoon was delicious and my steak tips were cooked to perfection.

Nice staff and good food! They have all what I need . Sushi is fresh, hibachi fried rice is tasty, not to salty, not to light( I used to go to Ninja in Decatur, but they are way down now) The staff is friendly, they deserve get more than 5 stars.
