Normally I don't post food reviews, but this place is absolutely delicious and so fun to walk around in when there's not a crazy crowd. I think as soon as I saw the bust of Elvis, my eyes went 😍, haha! But definitely a really good place if you love comfort food and cool antiques!

It's such a cute little resteraunt, with great decor and a fabulous menu. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded, but there were a number of groups coming and going all the time. It's one of those secret places you find. I'm definitely going to let my peeps know about it, though

Food was good. We had fried green beans, side salad, slaw burger, onion rings shrimp tacos and strawberry pretzel salad. It was more food then we could eat. The waitress couldn't have been better. Friendly, prompt, check on us regularly.

WOW, this place was such an interesting/cool place to sit and eat in. So many old America trinkets and things. The food was so delicious. I had the BLT, and my husband had the rueben sandwich. Next time, I'll try dessert 🙃 this is a place you HAVE to stop by and see if you're visiting Hartselle or even if you live here!

The food is great. The place is a time machine, everytime you come , you see a piece of pop culture, fashion and design of the past decades to the present. The artifacts reach out to you, pulling memories from your life. You see things that were here before you, but recall memeoeries from older people in your life.

Lunch time is hopping. The food is great, but come evening, the place empties out. There is a cool living room alcove filled with vintage furniture. A flat screen TV you can sit st watch. (I hooked my Switch up to and played jackbox games with friends. ) chill low key place at night. If you are driving up from the beach, or down to the beach and you want to jump off the hiway for nice meal. Look for the chef on your right when you get in town. There is parking in the back. And you can come through the patio.
Everyone is welcome here.

Really fantastic restaurant in the ❤ of historic Hartselle. Loved everything about this place! Fantastic menu, creative decor, sassy style and personable service.

Loved that Rhonda owner and creator came to check on our meal and experience. The club sandwich “One of the FIVE reasons” their still open was a huge winner and the Reuben was such a hit my boys had to share

Cool concept, great little town, wonderful shops and free parking - definite stop while you’re visiting or shopping through

Great little southern place right here in downtown Hartselle Alabama. The environment is cute and kitschy, the staff is friendly and the food is out of this world. We found her when we first moved here - now it’s a regular haunt!
Anything on the menu is better than you’ve had, my personal favorite is the buffalo Mac & cheese. The fried green tomatoes are tops too!
You really can’t go wrong on this menu!!

Such a neat place to eat. Food and service were very good. The atmosphere is so neat with all the things to look at. The music is from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Visiting from Oklahoma, found this nice gem. Food and service both were excellent. The decor was very interesting. If you get a chance give this place a try, the burger was especially good and the baked beans were so yummy.

We ate here yesterday, on a Thursday. We live a few towns over and my son had eaten here previously. My daughter and I both ordered chicken salad on toast, fried green tomatoes and fried okra. My husband ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos with fries. My son got hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was all delicious. The service was great, efficient and friendly. Kept our cups refilled and checked on us a few times to make sure nothing was needed. The only thing missing was the daily special. They were out of it. We would definitely return again. Bill was about $50 minus gratuity for family of 4. Decor is a “pickers” dream.

I posted a reel on my IG that shows the beautiful atmosphere of this place. It's magical. You can sit in these unique alcoves of hidden treasures. Where each nook has its own unique style and sitting...but not haughty. I love it❣❣❣You feel at home and yet amongst friends.
Very friendly service!!! I love that they have fresh cut fries...and that the fruit salad is actual fresh fruit. The shrimp I had was very delicious. The sweet tea was perfect...just sweet enough.
The music was the best background music for me. I was dancing in my seat while my son and I hung out...the best late lunch date with him ever. I love that they don't over power you with screens...tvs...or tabletop devices. Personally, the last thing I want when I go somewhere is more screen time...ugh.
Eatin' in the Attic is very well imagined❣❣❣. I love that there is ample seating. Clean eclectic restrooms were a delight to see, as well. They hearken to the rest of the establishment in style and humor...all done with a twist.
The lighting was very pleasant, because it wasn't sterile fluorescent or led lights in standard boring fixtures.
To me there is a little of something for everyone there. I wanted to share the video here, but Google is still not up to snuff...only allowing pics....but the old cigarette machine was so cool...I remember when these were everywhere...
Stop by for lunch or dinner there...it's worth it...

Loved it! My husband and I tried this for the first time. We walked in and was told to have a seat anywhere, well we didn't know where really. There are different sides, levels, themes, so we clarified because we thougt it was two different shops in one. Roamed around while we waited for our food. Nice atmosphere, different 😃. Food was delicious. Definitely will be back and will be bringing our family.

The food was excellent! The staff was great. Only issue was they didn't have a place for 8 people to sit. The only table was for 8 was already taken. It was not busy and perhaps they would have tried to accommodate us by pushing 2 tables together. My husband and I will be back but won't be bring our family. Don't want to risk not sitting together again. Other than that it was a wonderful time.

This is such a fun place to eat at. The decor is an experience by itself. Everyone in there is very nice and helpful. They gave our kids a little gift to celebrate St Patrick's day. The food is GREAT! We stopped there on the way to our spring break and it was so good we stopped there again on our way back home. I recommend their signature sandwich The Attic! The fried green beans are great too!

This is absolutely the cutest place to go! It's a unique place filled with the so many cool things to look at. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the friendliest welcome by JD. She let us take out time looking around before figuring out which unique table we wanted to sit at. JD was the sweetest waitress, and really made the experience! The food was also amazing, we got to try the chicken salad and got amazing recommendations for food. Definitely excited to go back again!!

Had an amazing lunch today in a very unique restaurant. You have to see this place to appreciate it. It's like lunch inside a huge rummage sale, even the bathrooms are so awesome, make sure you go! We had the Attic sandwich, absolutely amazing with fried green beans and fried green tomatoes, along with chicken and dumplings. It's such an amazing restaurant with great service, great prices!
