Lowry's Crab Shack

I got take out tonight ordered the coconut shrimp, fried catfish, and wings. Yummmmmy
Even though the batter didn't do so well on my 35 minute drive home it was still very tasty! Looking forward to eating outside there when the weather is nicer.
Going to try the blackened catfish next time :-)

The freshness, atmosphere, and service here are really great. Stopped by and got some hot, fresh shrimp and crab for an impromptu treat. Just one bite of that shrimp hit the spot! Eyes were bigger than my stomach--had to let a friend eat the rest of my order so I haven't gotten to taste the crab yet, but it sure looked delicious. The courteous attention from the folks working there was so genuine and welcoming that I can't wait to stop by again sometime for more yummy seafeood next chance I get. Cool atmosphere too. Five stars all around!!

All 5*! Everything was perfect! 2 Snow crab and steamed shrimp combo meals split between 3 adults was more than enough. We had shrimp leftover!

A hidden gem! I love this restaurant. It’s my go to for seafood and we drive an hour each way. The staff are super nice, they’ve added on and sell homemade goodies now that we get to take home. The food is fresh, delicious and the restaurant definitely has the family owned vibe. If I could do 10/10 ⭐ I would!

I was fully expecting a mediocre experience here and was glad I was wrong. The place was super busy when we came but the waitress and the rest of the staff were all very attentive and nice. True to it's name, it is very shack like with limited space, so you should get reservations. We spent about $140 for food, drinks, and dessert for 3 with enough for a second round at home. It's a heavy bill but fair for seafood with the amount of food you get. The only downsides were that parking is tight here and even with an A/C, it was warm inside. It is family friendly. We will definitely be back.

A true family business that cares!! Not only do they have a special needs son who requires more of them than anyone can imagine. You will still be greeted with a smile and a "How are you doing" ! Best seafood around. Love it my friends and lets not forget amazing soft serve icecream!!!🥰

A family owned and operated small business that had been a staple of the community for years it offers delicious options from fried chicken to steamed crab. I’ve never been disappointed with the variety of choices and their service has been top notch each and every occasion we find ourselves at Lowry’s. Their hushpuppies are to die for.

Love this family owned restaurant! Located in the quaint little town of Hamilton, just west of Leesburg - if you're looking for blue crab this is the place! The food is delicious & the location is perfect! It's worth the drive out of town!

Awesome food! I was passing through the area and looking for some good seafood, and Lowrys really hit the mark! The king crab was delicious and it was such an awesome outdoor environment.

Lowry's is perhaps one of Loudoun County's best kept secrets for seafood. If you like crabs and shrimp you are not going to do better than Lowry's. There is something about eating seafood on their patio. We love this place and I bet you will too!

This place is pretty awesome, but a smallish interior dining area. Best fried chicken in NOVA, and the service is always fantastic.

I love seafood, and I only heard about Lowry's from facebook, so today I decided to try it. I got the steamed shrimp and snow crab combo with macaroni and cheese, cinnamon applesauce, and hishpuppies.

The food was prepared promptly, but in a aluminum tray and in a bag. I took it home for 30 minutes. I opened it, expecting it to be overcook because of the ride home.

It was cooked PERFECTLY. The shrimp was outstanding, the crab legs were huge and every leg had a huge strip of meat in it. If anything, I wished I had asked for more seasoning but that was my fault. The mac and cheese was really good, and the applesauce was chunky and tasted homemade. I loved the fact that they put the huspuppies in with the seafood rather than seperated, because they soaked up some of the brine and they tasted amazing.

I STRONGLY reccomend this seafood restaurant. You will not be dissapointed. 5 stars!!!
