Spring House Farm Store

Drove past the shop in Hamilton and made a quick u-turn and visited out of curiosity. Expected a quaint little convenience store and was pleasantly surprised by the meat offerings. Failed to read any of the signs and stood around waiting for an employee for a while (even knocked on the back door a couple times). The fact that a place like this exists with it's self serve model restores my faith in humanity a bit. Awesome place, keep it up guys!

This little farm store has an amazing selection!! We got eggs, grass-fed beef, cream, bones for broth and they have some sweet treats as well. There's not always someone there but it's easy self checkout and when someone is there they've always been super nice and helpful!

Have passed by many times, finally made the stop in! Great selection of meats including uncommon cuts. Lots of dairy products and eggs, too. Prices are great, you are definitely getting what you pay for. The self-serve aspect is unique and really shows how much farmers care about their community, and how much we should show back to them. We will be back for sure!

Their pork is just wow. I’ve been ordering from ButcherBox for a while, and it’s way better than store bought pork. But this is another level. Easily the best pork I’ve ever tasted. The eggs and chicken are great too.

20230415 I now drive out to the market to pick out the HAPPY meat! Love this market. Support local small business, and buy happy and healthy meat. Animals should live a good happy life... especially if they are going to end up on our plates!

Cute little market. Unfortunately there were no one there to answer any questions but I guess you can give them a call. It's interesting that they operate on an honor system. Get what you need and self checkout. The check out application is very user friendly. I saw a picture of the Trickling Springs Ice cream and came by to pick some up. Unfortunately they have South Mountain that I like but don't love as much as Trickling Springs. I was hoping to pick up some veggies but they didn't have anything other than some that looked like cucumbers. I did find the chicken livers that I wanted for my dogs, and bought the 2 packs that they have. Picked up some sliced American cheese, that is from South Mountain Creamery, and both of my dogs loves it ... Including the finicky one 😋. I hope it's happy cow cheese. If I'm in the area, I would come by again. I did have fun shopping here. Very different experience than other market. I can take my time and don't have a set of eyeballs watching... Well, at least I couldn't see them 😁🤭.
