The tour was amazing. The history, the castle and property is just buetiful. There going a great job of maintaining the property and trying to restore as much as they can back to the way it once was. The walking path around the property was a extra treat being able to see river and being able to sit back and relax on one of the many seating area and relaxing under the shade. Melinda did a wonderful job as our tour guide. I would recommend doing this tour you won't be disappointed.

This property is stunning. It is out in the middle of no where, beautiful Kentucky. I did not get the pleasure of doing an official tour, but I would love to next time. We had a great time walking around the property, and enjoyed the lobster food truck here for lunch. Great products for tasting. Nice gift shop. A lot of history here. Can't wait to come back!

Castle and Key has lovely grounds and fun, knoledgeable staff. We enjoyed the tour and tasting. You can visit the grounds and do a tasting at the bar without a tour which is great as the tours start to run together if you are doing several during your trail experience. This location has the unique bonus of being a castle and is definitely worth a visit!

Tour was one of the best I’ve been on. Buildings were fascinating and the garden was fabulous. Rich, our tour guide, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and sooo enthusiastic. Whole thing was a great experience.

Loved our stop at Castle & Key. It wasn't on our planned itinerary, but may have been the highlight of the distilleries, which included Woodford and Buffalo Trace. There grounds have so much charm that we could have stayed for hours. The gift shop within the castle is also gorgeous. Would definitely recommend adding this as a top on your bourbon trail tour.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Old architecture meets natural scenes. Tons of spots to sit and sip. Whether it is a night of live music and food trucks, or a quiet evening, you will enjoy your time at Castle & Key. Good cocktails, friendly staff.

My husband I visited our favorite distillery- Castle & Key in March. We absolutely love their bourbons and ryes and their gins are so beautifully aromatic. Unfortunately we did not book a tour so missed out on catching a glimpse of how the magic is made.

We made several purchases in the gift shop- including a C&K sweatshirt with a Key on the back. I tried on a couple different sizes and ended up choosing a sweatshirt and checking out. A couple of weeks later when I went to wear the sweatshirt, I realized there was no key on the back of my sweatshirt. And I was a bit disappointed. I reached out to Castle and Key and a delightful person named ALEX said that they wanted to absolutely make it right for me and sent me a new sweatshirt and a return authorization for the sweatshirt that I had. Their customer service was outstanding! The communication was spot on, and the timing and delivery was prompt.

Thank you for pursuing your amazing craft and offering fantastic customer service. It matters.

Castle & Key was a uniquely wonderful experience and place! If you like castles and their stories you will enjoy your experience here! Maggie was an incredible tour guide that made us feel like we were transported in time with her stories plus enjoyed the modern day experience of the newer owners of the distillery. I would do the tour again!

We visited a dozen or so distilleries over several days on our trip, and Castle & Key had the most beautiful facility, by far! So unique!
Definitely plan to grab a cocktail and spend some time walking the grounds.

This is a good distillery to visit. Even if you don’t have time for the tours you can take a quick walk around. Plenty of history to see, water fall, walking trail, and good gift shop. Be sure to pay attention to what is behind the clothes and other gift shop items. The old boiler setup is pretty neat. Several unique bourbon related gifts. Had a Cuban food truck on site that was really good.

Staff as super friendly, the grounds are breathtaking! I wish I lived closer to come here all the time!
It was awesome getting to talk to our host Rich before the tour and finding out we come from an hour and a half away from each other originally.
Also loved having to enter the speak easy to get the tasting!

Blake did a very good tour - he was very entertaining. Castle & Key Distillery has beautiful grounds and an interesting history. I wish we could have seen inside a rickhouse, but Blake said that's part of another type of tour. Tasting at the end was nice. We got samples of both types of bourbon and a hibiscus gin cocktail. The Rise gin is my favorite!

We did a private tour today with Val, and it was amazing. She was a fantastic guide , extremely knowledgeable and funny. Our group loved her.

The grounds are beautiful, the history of the property is fantastic, and the owner Will stopped by us and had a great conversation with the group.

Really cool architecture and ambiance of the location. The old buildings and carefully restored location really allows for the history of the distillery to shine through. The tour was informative and well planned. In a few years it will grow and have a larger selection that will really enhance the experience.

The tour at Castle & Key was amazing. Our guides Maggie and Laurie were very knowledgeable about the spirits as well as the history and kept it very interesting. The bar staff was knowledgeable and fun! Don’t miss this one! Try the bloody mary; it is by far the best bloody i have ever had. Can’t wait for their bloody mary mix is available for purchase. Their gin and tonic was also amazing

We wanted to do the tour, but we’re not allowed since we had our infant with us.

A quick stop for a cocktail was still enjoyable. The gift shop was really nice and the grounds are beautiful.
