Haven Montauk

The first time we went to Haven, it way exceeded our expectations. The beauty of this hotel is that it remains consistent in everything it delivers. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is always pleasant and very professional. Michelle is someone that we see every time we come to Haven, and she's one of the most refreshing faces and personalities. She's always prepared to provide us with whatever we need. Don't ever lose her. Haven is also a great location. It's walking distance from stores and restaurants. It's also a nice distance from the center of town which is about 3 mi from the hotel. We look forward to staying every year and have been doing so for the last four. I would also like to mention that they are pet friendly, but you would never know that there's been a pet in any room. I mean it when I say that their rooms are impeccably clean and they are also equipped with all the toiletries you need. I highly recommend Haven to anyone planning to visit Montauk.

My new favorite pet friendly Montauk place . Had it not rained we would have stayed another day. I loved how clean it was. You walk into the room and it smells and feels clean! White linens, simply decorated, spacious and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is just as well kept. I love that you can easily park right by your room and that the grounds are manicured nicely and it feels welcoming.
The pool area is perfect for swimming or relaxing in the sun with plenty of loungers and a grass area. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Location! You can walk to the beach and the little beachside town and they have bikes to use as well as parking passes for day use of the beach. Truly a great place to stay and I can’t wait to return. One more shout out to the very friendly people who work here.

Very clean inside and out. Charming beach hotel. Literally,2 minute walk away to the beach. The pool is small and very well maintained. Michelle greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile and was very helpful setting up my wifi and password as internet and phone service can be 'tricky' in Montauk. Highly recommend

Staff Colleen kindly helped us having campfire and grilling. We had a super-fun time and nice memories, so it was a nice stay overall. Room was very clean and tidy, but the toilet was too close to the bed, which was uncomfortable. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so I had to open the window. Very quiet and safe!

A perfect place to stay for our family trip to Montauk. Close enough to walk to restaurants and a 1 min walk to a private beach. We loved our stay at Haven! The rooms were airy and bright and had a great pool area, very family friendly.

Found this place by accident and it was a happy accident. It’s a quant property with a spacious room. Having a place to work as well as a refrigerator to store water, juice, yogurt was a plus. Also, the front desk greeter, I can’t remember her name, was delightful and provided me with great info on activities on the property as well as dining suggestions in the area. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the property! It was our second time in the past 2 years and both times for a surprise birthday. The staff made everything easy and comfortable.

It was a holiday weekend. We booked this at the last minute and definitely overpaid. However, in the same breath my family was extremely satisfied with our stay.

The room was small, but very efficient, clean and comfortable.

The pool was cute and not crowded.

The fire pit was absolutely terrific!

The beach was across the street. You really can't beat that! Plus it was a short walk to local restaurants and stores.

There were bikes to borrow as well as paddle boards.

It really is a special place and I hope to get back sooner than later.

Excellent place to stay in Montauk. Prices were really reasonable (even considering it was tail end of the season into off season). Water is only like 150 ft away. And their lobby has a super friendly cat!

Awesome staff, vibe & overall experience! The girl at reception desk was so friendly & welcoming! The music playing at pool was awesome! Upbeat vibe. Decor and motel itself is awesome! Came during Covid and room felt super clean and comfy! Definitely will be coming back!

Awesome location in the quieter inlet area. Very convenient for Montauk Downs golfers . Short walk to the great restaurants along the inlet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is really nice. Great little outdoor area and fire pit. Bay is across the street. Highly recommend

Gem of a place in a quiet residential area. The room was so clean, you could smell the cleaning supplies as soon as you first walked in, it was completely spotless. The fire pit at night was awesome, adding the complimentary S’Mores packets that the office gave us at check in (BTW the marshmallows were freaking huge!) it made for an absolute unforgettable Montauk evening at the pit with some wine, the campfire, some friendly overnight neighbors -and them huge s’mores!!! Seriously!
Office staff was courteous, very professional, helpful & extremely nice. The coffee in the morning was good and strong. Location-wise, it’s literally walking distance from Sunset Beach, from Gosman’s and also from the Block Island Ferry. Driving 5-7 mins from downtown MTK & from our favorite bakery Buongiorno on S Embassy St. Hotel is pet friendly as well (we had a 6.5lbs Yorkie accompanying us).
