This is a great large old-fashioned restaurant located in the world famous Grove! I believe the theme is 1950s diner, it’s super American and super cute. The staff even dresses up in old school diner uniforms. The food was delicious and there’s lots of sweet treats to top off the meal, highly recommend this place for friends and family

I have been wanting to come here for years, and I finally had the opportunity to do. Very please with the food and service. It does get busy, especially on the weekends, it can have a pretty long line. The food is amazing and the portions are huge! We ordered a full stack (5 pancakes) to share for a family of 3, pancakes were huge! My husband and I shared the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was very good. Our server was very attentive, constantly refilling our coffee and asking if we needed anything else. I highly recommend you give this diner a chance if you find yourself in the area, you will not be disappointed.

Old fashioned but pretty interior! Love the carpet inside and beautiful patio furniture! Try the full hot cake, big portions but you will have them all because it’s so delicious and tasty! We had apple cinnamon hot cakes and Denver omelette! There are apples inside the hot cakes layers, the omelette was savory enough, hash photos were well done! Love here all vibe, food and the drinks

The absolute BEST PANCAKES YOU WILL EVER EAT! Old school classic LA staple right here. We love eating at this place. Pancakes are the real deal. Also the club sandwich is delicious as well

My god this stack of pancakes is bigger than my head. Way way bigger than I expected, definitely couldn't finish them. I recommend the short stack, not full, regardless of how hungry you are! They're super good, too - this place definitely deserves its fame! Buttery and soft.

Vegetable omelet was also good, blueberry muffin was surprisingly nothing to write home about despite looking amazing.

Wow, the food was so good. Best at the farmers market. The pancakes are truly legendary. And the Waldorf Salad was delicious with each tasteful ingredient making an impact. The chicken, walnuts, cranberries, everything.

This was our first trip to Du-Pars and it was truly great. We were there for breakfast around 8a on a Thursday and the wait was maybe 15 minutes. Not bad but it was on 4th of July and a lot of people left the city so we were lucky.

We had the Famous pancakes and they are the best in the world. The butter on the pancakes is **chefs kiss**. The pancakes are so delicious you don’t even need syrup. My mom had the bacon, eggs, and hash browns. My mom did ask for cheese on her eggs and they came back with none they quickly fixed her whole order over. Per my mom the eggs were scrambled perfectly.

The only negative about Du-Pars is that they don’t have a location back home we have to fly to Cali for it but we will be back next year!!!!!

Get ready for MASSIVE pancakes 🥞. Service was great but can get slow on busy weekends. Don't forget to checkout the farmer's market afterwards, they sell great-looking chocolate-coverd apples 🍏

Old fashioned diner serving breakfast food and sandwiches. Located next to the grove farmer’s market. You can get parking validated for eating here (90 min limit).

Got the regular order (3 stack) pancakes and it was quite filling, thankfully I did not order the 5 stacker. The sandwich combo with salad and cake was a good deal. The mango peach cheesecake was tasty.

Servers are nice and don’t bother you much after you get your food. They seemed to be quite busy so you need to flag someone to get help.

Our second visit to Du-par’s. Breakfast was excellent, actually more than I could finish. Pancakes, for lack of a better description, are huge. Excellent taste; but huge! Wife’s fried eggs were perfect. Orange juice outstanding. We will go back again.

Solo travelling so only had the chance to try the pancakes.. and they were AWESOME! so fluffy and tasty. The diner was old school vibes and staff were friendly.

Went on a Saturday morning and waited in line for about 5 minutes. They offered indoor or outdoor seating. There was 4 of us and we sat inside at a booth. The restaurant was pretty full. JR was our server and was very friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and delicious. Definitely will return.

Great spot to catch up with friends. You can never go wrong with pancake. The beef liver steak is unexpectedly really good.

Great location, nice decor, good atmosphere. Food was good. I wouldn't say the best I've eaten but definitely worth a visit. Dubbed the best pancakes in America and I wouldn't agree with that but they are good. Don't forget to ask for parking validation on your way out. The Farmers Market is amazing though.

Been coming here for years and it’s the only place my mom wants to visit when she comes to LA. Truly might be the best pancakes, which are simultaneously the fluffiest with nice crisp edges. Eggs Florentine were really good and the hash browns are the nice crispy shredded type (which are the best kind.) Definitely stop by if you’re going to the farmers market.

Original pancakes are served here! We came back twice during our stay since it was so good. We tried the French toast as well and they were tasty too. Maybe a bit heavy, so be prepared to skip lunch 😁

So good a line to get a table. So get in line for some amazing pancakes! It’s busy so prepare to wait for fantastic food. Tip big because servers are working hard.

Update: Better than ever! I think the best thing to do is order to-go, grab a table in the farmer's market and enjoy because the lines are crazy long!

This place has history. If you want pancakes buttered enough to make you feel it in your heart after completion, make sure to order the pancake stack. Great stuff! Weekend menu is definitely pricey as it will cost you around $26 for an short stack, bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns.

We sat outside and it was nice and cozy. We had pancakes (regular ones, with strawberries), orange juice and coffee. It was very good food. We paid a bit much for my taste (30$ with tips), about 25$ without. Portions are big!
Staff is ok, average polite and caring. Not too much available when you call them.
