Walgreens Pharmacy

People here are always courteous, helpful, and professional. I appreciate the pharmacy especially because even when they are busy, busy, the technicians take the time with each customer to answer any medical and/or insurance questions. I have also witnessed them patiently explaining information to our elderly population. I have never had a bad experience here so I don’t know why there are negative comments, and I use this Walgreens location regularly.

Got my first Covid shot

Been in the pharmacy drive through lane for like 15 minutes. This is crazy I'm stuck between cars. What's the deal. Only three cars have went through. Looks like they're super busy is all.

Decent Walgreens.

Refused to return a Walgreens brand product I had purchased, even through Walgreens supposedly has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Worst customer service ever!!!

•RUDENESS & DISCRIMINATION REVIEW

JANUARY 4th FRIDAY ABOUT 9:30AM I was treated so rudely from a male pharmacy tech when i attempted to fill my monthly medication. I attempted to explain to the MALE PHARM TECH (he is young tall & red blood shot eyes) the prescription may be a day or two early bc i had seen my doc a few days early.& made a few mistakes with the doses, THEREFORE i may need to purchase 2 doses in cash.
i explained i had talked to my insurance & doctor.
•The pharm tech gave a "sigh " & rolled his eyes & proceeded to tell me it would not be-filed for 3-4 days bc needs to be 30 days from last time it was filled. I related to him it's a 28 day supply not 30 . The MALE PHARM TECH took the prescription over to the. younger female pharmacists maybe name AMY (she had shoulder length blondish hair) & not the usual pharmacist i have seen at this store. Together The tech & pharmacists calculated the amount of doses ( 47 ) and said it was a 29 1/2 days not 28 day.
•THIS IMPORTANT: all the while giving me a hard time about the schedule class 3 medication, the tech nor the pharmacists never even ran it through the system to verify the e date it's available to be filled & paid by my insurance. .
• Instead the PHARM TECH & PHARMACISTS took upon themselves & judged me as a second class citizen that is abusing the schedule 3 class medication. If i would not said anything about it may or may not be a day or 2 early, the prescription would have been covered by my insurance & filled and i would only have to deal with the WHITE MALE PHARM TECH rolling his eyes at me.
•HOWEVER NOT THE OUTCOME - and NEITHER ONE OF THE 2 EVER RAN IT THRU THE SYSTEM & LEARN IT WAS AVAILABLE ON
THE SAME DAY TO BE FILLED. THE STRENGTH OF THE MEDICATION IS NOT COMMON & this Walgreens happen to have available on a FRIDAY. I took back my prescription from the tech.
• i went to & called over 15 pharmacies that day to verify if they had the 47 doses of the rare strength, UNTIL I found a WALGREENS ON PLAINFIELD RD IN G.R. it took less than took less than 15 minutes to fill. And it turns out the normal reduction in copay savings card on my file for medication not permitted to be until 30 days, I was absolutely okay with paying my normal $50 copay,
• I started at 930 am at the 5100 BELTLINE WALGREENS & did not find a pharmacy with the 47 does of the medication strength until 230 pm at PLAINFIELD RD WALGREENS & the staff was so kind to me & didn't treat me like i was a second class citizen attempting to con staff into getting medication early bc i was a low life junkie.
• I was so appalled by the YOUNG MALE W/ BLOOD SHOT EYES PHARM TECH & PHARMACISTS BEHAVIOR TOWARDS ME @ 5100 BELTLINE RD ,they judged me or better word discriminated against me because of the nature of medication.
