Waterloo Convention Center

I had the chance to to attend Cedar Valley Fashion Arts and Culture Expo this past weekend and I was absolutely impressed by how nice the space looked! I hadn’t been in since the remodel, but the facility was decorated to the nines. The lobby was perfectly clean, the attendants handling bar services were kind, and the lighting elevated the mood for the night. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone hosting large events in the Cedar Valley.

Plenty of room for large groups. Our last conference had about 400 attendees. Upstairs there are rooms for sessions. These four rooms have retractable walls so the morning keynote can be seen by all. There is room to mill around downstairs and another large hall for lunch which was provided by conference center staff.

I have been here a few times for large church services and a singing competition. It's a nice, clean facility with a Skywalk attached to a hotel and parkade. There are multiple ballrooms and a main large room. It's located close to the river and multiple places to eat, drink, or shop.

They've renovated and it's so nice in there! Perfect for weddings, receptions, parties or conventions!

I was a vendor here for the recent wedding show and it was a great place for it! I always like visiting here when there are events that I'm interested in, too. It's a good size without being too large.

I had the pleasure of attending the Waterloo Schools Foundation's "Sparking Academic Excellence Breakfast" this morning. The banquet room was very tastefully decorated and the set up for our speakers (audio/video, stage placement, etc...) allowed everyone to enjoy our speakers.

Most importantly, the room beautifully accommodated all of our amazing student exhibits around the entire perimeter. They were the true stars of the day!

It's wonderful to be able to celebrate the Waterloo Schools and the WS Foundation right in the heart of our city.

Thank you to the Waterloo Civic Center for helping to make this day so special.

Great facility for the Rich Penn auction that was on May 13-15, 2023.

Someone by the name of nayah or Meeka (I can’t remember for sure) insisted to clean up a mess that myself and friends made. Very appreciative of the staff and their professionalism

Nice place plenty of room for events and gatherings. Parking garage near by and hotel if needed.

Excellent customer service and you always walk out looking top notch!
