Great people ! You feel like family. U must buy from them. They have every type of alcohol and other liquids.

I looked online for a liquor store to see if they had a spare shipping/cardboard box. I called a couple to ask but all the ones I called before calling this store were unwelcoming, abrupt and said no. However, Jr’s Discount Liquors is top tier and helped me immediately. Upon calling, instead of closing off and being abrupt, they invited me to come over to check out what boxes they had! They saved my life today, I needed a box badly and they went above and beyond to help me, I felt so welcomed and amazed at their kindness! There’s a big family feel when I walked in and it was just the sweetest thing! They seem super caring and I will definitely come back to grab some drinks next time! Totally the best! Totally recommend visiting!

This is the best liquor store in the area. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of beer and liquor is fantastic. Prices are also good for an independent liquor store.

The people that own liquor store are very nice I believe they are Hawaiian very friendly liquor store they have a large selection of liquor and many different kinds of beer. If you are in Castro valley stop on by and take a look for yourself. You won't be sorry.

Freaking love this place!!! Just bought my home 4 min away one month ago, and happened to stop here so many different craft beers you cannot go wrong!! Highly recommend coming if u like beers also ask for jr man knows his beers!

Super nice and knowledgeable crew working there. They know liquor and are passionate about their product. I was looking for a very specific and hard to find gin and, while they didn't have it, they knew what it was and the entire story behind how it was made. They then directed me toward a similar product at a great price.
If you're into home bartending, craft cocktails, or craft beer, give them your business.

Every liquor store seems to have a sign advertising their selection. Most of the time, I am underwhelmed. But not here. I was absolutely floored by the selection of beer and liquor. Definitely check this place out.

Underrated spot in Castro Valley. The staff is super friendly and are helpful. They are not kidding when they say they're is a huge beer selection. They restock multiple times during the week. Love discovering new beers.

I love this place! The beer selection 1000% puts bevmo to shame. Prices on hard liquor are very reasonable. The guys at the counter are super nice. Parking is kinda tricky sometimes because the lot is tiny and shared with the restaurant next door. But it's usually the first place I try to go to for beer or liquor before other stores because the selection and service are better than anywhere else in Castro valley.

Junior and all the staff are always super welcoming and ready to help you find your beverage of choice. The variety is huge, prices are right, and cheery staff make this my only stop for craft beer. I dare you to find a better selection in the East Bay.

An impressive array of craft beer choices from all places up and down the west coast, including local Bay Area breweries. Also a great selection of various spirits and liqueurs. Customer service is always fantastic and friendly, Jr. will start to recognize you after a few visits and will always help you find what you want, or push you to try something new. Highly recommend

This is an awesome place. I lived here 3 years and never went inside because it never seemed like a big store. A friend told me to go in, and I was blown away by the selection in there! It's not a big store, but they make very good use of the space, I guarantee you'll find something new you'll love and all your existing favorites too!

Great selection of American whiskey, rye, and bourbon. Selection is 95% available for customers to directly browse, with only 5% behind the register. Focus is on mid to high end whiskey at the expense of bottom-shelf brands (which I think is a great thing). In spring 2021, they have a barrel pick of Four Roses Single Barrel available on the shelf.

I'm not an expert at craft beer, but I see a similar focus there as well. The mass market brands are there, but there's so much shelf space dedicated to independent brands and craft expressions. This is the place to come to find something new and interesting.

Love love love the selection there. And especially love the people there. Super knowledgeable and willing to chat with you about beer. What more can you ask for? Well, Free beer but cant get everything you asked for lol

Always have a solid selection of local craft brews in stock. Altamonte, Almanac, Alameda Island Beer, Local Brew, Henhouse, and so many more local brewers are stocked here. Good selection from the standard beer vendors. And a bread selection of liquors with good pricing that competes with Total/Bevmo and I don't have to make the long drive. Staff are awesome. Familiar with most of their inventory. Always helps me with great recommendations for new beers to try and advising on what the freshest beers are that were just stocked. Fresh beer makes a big difference in flavor quality.

Ipa heaven! I have never seen this many ipa's in a single store. If there's a specific beer you want, just let them know they will order it for you. Great selection will definitely go back.
