Lumar Active makes incredible UPF 50 swimwear. It is sustainably made and women owned! All factors I take into consideration when purchasing clothing. Lumar Active rules! I am fair skinned and the Lumar surf leggings and long sleeved suit prevented me from getting burnt in the strong Fijian sun. And it’s super stylie and has a great fit to it so that you can look cute while staying protected. Highly recommend!

So many things to love! First the commitment to sustainability of this company is off the charts! But when it comes down to it I want fear that looks good and stays on when it comes to water activities. The fabric hugs the body and doesn’t budge. I have the cheeky bottoms and they are so flattering. I also have the crop top rash guard and I love that it stays down while surfing. I was looking for something that would let me get color on my belly but protect my arms and chest from sun damage. This is exactly what I wanted. A few years ago I ordered a few cheap crop rash guards from Amazon and one broke on the first wear and none of them ever stayed down while I was surfing, they actually became dangerous, trapping my arms during an underwater hold down. Lumar is nothing like that! I wear the one piece in Hawaii to surf. It keeps the wind off my skin keeping me just warm enough without the restriction that neoprene brings. Definitely worth the investment!

While surfing in the tropics, I wouldn’t wear anything but Lumar. I especially loved the fit & performance of their one piece surf suit. The high neckline protected me perfectly from sun exposure. Lumar garments fit me like a glove, and kept me surfing comfortably from sunrise to sunset, every day. As far as sizing goes, I’ve found that my lumar garments fit true to size. For reference, I am 5’5 & 125 lbs and the size small fit me perfectly. The one piece surf suit is pictured in my review- a perfect choice for kiteboarding. 😍 such a flattering choice for anyone looking for the best sun protection on the market. I can’t wait till lumar comes out with more colors- I will collect every suit. 🤙

I found the fit of the long sleeve hooded rashguard pretty much perfect. I am. An XL. Also loved the thumb holes and the sticky hem which stops the rashie riding up. High quality material. highly recommended.

I just returned from a tropical surf trip where I wore the Lumar sun shirt and rash guard. I was very pleased with both products. The best feature was the hood and visor on the rash guard while surfing, it was comfortable to wear and kept the sun off my face. The rash guard was light and didn’t rise up from the waist while surfing. The sun shirt was great too for post surf sessions and evening lounging. It was light and comfortable. Both products are well designed and seem durable

Gorgeous swim wear that fits like a dream and is sustainable too! Couldn’t ask for more in a product. Love the material and love that it is good for my skin protection and the environment!

Incredible Long Sleeve Hooded Rashguard - a recent surf trip to Fiji had me spending an average of 7 hours a day in the water. The Lumar long sleeve hooded rashguard was my savior. It provided perfect sun protection on my upper body and not one touch of rash from endless hours of paddling. My eyes are particularly sensitive to the hot sun and I don’t think I would have made the week without the hooded brim. I haven’t always been a fan of hoods but the Lumar hood is comfortable and very easy to push back and out of the way when that big set is on the horizon and your scratching for that next wave. Thank You Lumar for making the perfect rash guard!! I’ll never go on another surf trip without it. Bula!!

Excellent quality, materials, protection and fits like a glove. I’ve tried them all and Lumar Active is by far the best on the market!

As an ocean lover, I often tie my car key to my swimsuit top, and I’ve stained so many tops with rust from the key ring, which is infuriating. When I found Lumar, it was an INSTANT win with the key pocket, UPF rating, and flattering designs. Plus, I love being able to mix and match pieces depending how much coverage I want 🍑😉 What’s not to love?!

The best gear out there. Little thicker than your regular rashie and I I’ve been using it all day in Fiji/ Mentawai islands and Bali and it still feels brand new.

just did a 10 mile run in my new Lamar lamsungry shirt temperature was in the mid 40s 9000 feet elevation. The shirt felt awesome wicked the sweat away from my body and kept me cool and comfortable
