Owners are friendly and very helpful! great selection always in stock!! Every time I come in to buy soju they have a new flavor and are eager to answer any questions!

Went there to pick up some items for Thanksgiving. Owner was very polite, recommended good wine and champagne. Also ended up with a new favorite whiskey.

Called multiple stores asking for soju. Canal Ponds Liquor was my only hope. I then called to see if they have soju - he then answered "We have a whole bunch of varieties".
Once i got there, it was soju heaven! From top to bottom! Definitely recommend this place caring for soju or even anything you desire!

I love coming here to buy soju! They have really good prices and many flavors I cannot find anywhere else. They also offer all the classics and many unique choices as well. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Visiting the area from out of town, and decided to do some bourbon shopping. So glad I stopped in Canal Ponds Liquor! For a mid sized store, they have an excellent, well thought out whisky selection at very competitive price points. The store owner was personable and quite knowledgeable about the products he stocks. He was able to recommend a couple less common bourbons based on my taste preferences.

Already looking forward to a return visit next time I am in Rochester!

I used to frequent this store before the change in ownership. At that time, the gentleman that owned it was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, so it became our go to liquor store. The change in ownership caused obvious concern as we thought we would lose that level of service we'd always received. Not so. The new owners have been fantastic. On one occasion I believe he followed me through the store telling me the story of nearly a dozen different spirit manufacturers before I decided on what I wanted for the occasion. Always a great experience.

The knowledgeable and helpful staff at this mostly family owned and operated establishment make it impossible to leave without the perfect pairing or taste that I desire. When looking to try something new, all I need do is inquire, and the staff will have me drooling with flavor combinations I didn't even know I wanted. Whether I'm doing weekly shopping for my family's favorites, or trying to impress a special guest, I've never left without exactly the right beverage. I recommend them highly.

Best priced whiskey spot in town. Strong Armagnac and Cognac selection. LOVE the mezcal and agave distillates section. Great, family run business.

Was Visiting Rochester and wanted to buy some soju. Very Big selection of many varieties of soju and other bevs. Very friendly owners and workers, definitely a place I would revisit and recommend to others. Locals are very lucky to have this establishment here in the area.

Awesome liquor store. The owner Jeff is fantastic. Always willing to help you find some great liquors or wines tailored to your taste. On a budget or looking for something higher priced. He will point you in the right direction everytime.

Very helpful staff always willing to advise of wine and various liquor selections. You can even find gifts from $1 shots to a variety of 4 pack fruity and sparkling cocktail drink. Then there is the more high quality rum and vodkas etc and the wines!! Come on a Friday and check them out🍷🥃
