I had a flat tire and Chris came to pick me and my bike up and saved me a 2-hour walk to the shop! He is a local, really nice and super knowledgeable: I can’t recommend the repair shop enough!! And they do good quality rentals too!

Makes me want to buy my own bike! Really friendly staff.

Stopped by on a Monday afternoon. The guys were friendly and helpful. Got what I needed, asked if they could adjust my derailleurs, they just did it right down there and did not charge me anything.
They also adjusted my brakes while they were at it. Ok, it only took them 3-4 minutes to do that, but it was nice!

Montauk Cycle Company exceeded ALL of my expectations. Kyle was able to find the exact bike my son needed, when I couldn’t find it anywhere. The bike was built quickly, safely and the whole interaction was so pleasant. Chris went above and beyond to make sure that my son received his bike right away, the store is appx 2hrs each way from my home and being able to have it delivered made my life so much easier. Chris & Kyle are both knowledgeable, friendly, class acts. I encourage everyone to check them out!

I brought my Specialized ebike to Montauk for July 4 weekend and brought it in to Montauk Cycle Company for a tune up. Everyone working at the bike shop is extremely patient, helpful to answer my questions and delivered an excellent tune up before I needed to head home. All of this great service even though they had a full shop of customers all weekend.

Chris, the owner, was super accommodating when my friend and I wanted to rent bikes last minute for a few hours. After getting us situated, Kyle took over and was extremely
helpful, setting up our bikes for us according to our height, and having us do a test run to make sure everything was working properly. Helmets were included for safety and we enjoyed a beautiful bike ride around montauk. I can’t wait to rent bikes again here for a longer period of time!

Friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and best of all, when I brought my bike in for a pedal that fell off, they did not take advantage or try to upsell me. We thought because we are in a vacation town, we’d be charged a small fortune. Not the case, in fact I was very impressed with thier customer service,, and the cost of the repair was very reasonable.

Chris is the best he stayed with me for hours while picking out an e bike.

If customer service is king this place rules. Knowledgeable, friendly, local. They have a great variety of bikes. Full service shop. Got flats they slimed my tires and never gotten a flat since. My whole family goes there.

I came to the shop to get a screw to fix my rack. They provided the screw quickly and I was able to continue my ride. They also had a good selection of socks and my wife and I each bought a pair.

The owner Chris is very knowledgeable and super helpful. My friends bike the mtk tri course and my bike had some minor problems - which they fixed for me at no charge while I waited . Both Chris and Kyle are bike enthusiasts and do what they love to do - help people get out on there bikes and enjoy beautiful mtk

Chris and Kyle are the best. They've helped me sort out repairs & problems with the bikes I already had and hooked me up with my new Trek Roscoe 8. Five stars for sure!

I’m a transient yacht Captain. We have 5 bikes aboard, Montauk Cycle is always there for service or repair. They have never made me wait, they always address issues immediately. They are the real deal!

Chris was super helpful. My bike's frame wasn't stable and was moving around, he fixed and centered it seconds. He also realized that there were a couple wrong installations with my breaks when it was built, so he fixed and fixed other things that were loose and even put oil. Great service and totally knowledgeable; he made my trip safer and more fun because I was able use it around Montauk. Thanks Chris!!!

I had an old bike that Chris would fix. He never pressured me into buying a new one even though I desperately needed to replace it I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a new Trek. Chris was so patient in helping me make the best decision for me. Thanks Chris!

Chris is the best. Super helpful and calm even during the high demand summer. He’s done several simple fixes for me within 2-3 days compared to the 2-3 WEEKS that other local bike shops are saying. I would keep this place a secret but feel compelled to pay the good karma forward.
