Very busy during this visit, getting mulch and other garden tools and plumbing parts. Easy to find isles, helpful employees, and very efficient cashiers made it a fast shopping stop. I will definitely come back in the future for all my hardware and garden needs

This a particular review for Gavin, Head Cashier @ Lowe’s Gainesville VA. While I went through a difficult, arduous process trying to get a refrigerator that didn’t have a defect or damage, Gavin worked with me to exchange and upgrade refrigerators to find one that kept my food cold and didn’t have other defects. Lowe’s uses an outside contractor for deliveries which has known issues; however, in the future Lowe’s may return to an in-house delivery system. Back to Gavin, he has super professional communication skills, including listening carefully to the issues and working to find a mutually satisfying solution. I was pleasantly surprised at how at ease he is communicating with older customers. And his work ethic is amazing; whenever there is a frustrated customer, Gavin is called in to assist. He’s super busy, helpful, and kind. It makes me feel confident about the next generation if they are anything like Gavin.

I have been shopping at this Lowe's for about 7 years. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with an employee who far exceeded my expectations Mr. David Corona. I'll start off by sharing a not so good experience shortly before David arrived: I was in the lumber section needing to buy some of the biggest and heaviest posts they sell (6x6x16') and noticed that they had parked a fork lift in front of the section holding the posts. Two employees were walking by me when I flagged them down and told them I need to get two of those huge posts can you please move the forklift. One of them jumped in the fork lift, backed it up, and to my shock they both just walked away leaving me to lift a 6x6x16 post by myself onto my lumber cart (mind you these posts are about 150 pounds or heavier if they are still wet). I started to try and wrestle one on my own and about 30 seconds later David Corona comes walking around the corner, sees me, and immediately asks if he could help me load the lumber to which I graciously accept! This in and of itself was excellent customer service especially after being left by two other employees that could have easily helped me but Mr. Corona wasn't done, he insisted on staying with me the entire time as I continued to load other smaller pieces of lumber for my project - even after I told him that the smaller pieces I should be able to handle by myself - he kept with me and made it a lot faster and easier to pick out good pieces of lumber and get loaded up. He then accompanied me to check out and helped me get everything loaded up on my trailer. 5-Star A+ customer service, this guy needs a bonus or a raise - he has good character and great work ethic. Lowe's, do yourself a favor and don't let him get away - get him promoted and working up the ranks as he will be a valuable asset.

I needed that hard to find special screw and I new Lowe's would have it in their metal bins. Plenty of product and I used the Lowe's app to find exactly where it was.

Came in for plastic wrap and a gentleman in a aisle greeted me and asked how he can help me, in today's world that's everything to me, now a days people lack customer service or don't want to deal with other humans, this guy stepped up to me and helped me instantly, I really appreciate that.

Lowes in Gainesville is the best store I ever shopped for my business materials. I always had a wonderful experience in this store, I always feel welcome and the staff in this store is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable representatives and super friendly, ready to help regardless if it’s their area or not !!! They are so nice and friendly that really makes you came back. I am driving around the whole NOVA area but this store is the place I purchase my materials especially large orders. I never had an issue in this store. Many thanks to Mr Fred and Miss Linda, and absolutely to Miss Broke. Is another young lady that works there that is super knowledgeable and very friendly ( forget her name) . In the appliances you have one of the best representatives between all the construction or appliances stores in this area , he is an absolutely amazing specialist that can educate you on spot on any appliance you need.( forget his name - gentleman in 60 s). I definitely recommend this store to anyone !

We had a nightmare of a time with online order & Lowes's Synchrony credit. Lowes should dump them fast! We dealt with Customer Service desk support & store personnel to fix our issue. All were understanding of issue, helpful, patient, & provided exemplary service! Christina in Customer Service is a true blue Rock Star!!

I personally love Lowe's. Some are better then others and just about everyone is having issues stocking items and help for that matter but the staff that's available are always as helpful as they can be. You can't expect every minimum wage employee to know everything about the entire store but they will do their best to help you anyway which I really appreciate. I didn't mean no disrespect about minimum wage and I have no idea how much they make but whatever it is I'm sure it's not enough having to deal with customers who get upset because something isn't to their liking. I have seen retail employees who deserved a good ear thrashing and given a few times myself in the past because of nasty attitudes but that's pretty rare lol.

This place has what you would expect from a Lowe's. The staff are helpful & polite, too.

Had what we needed. Quite a selection of hardware, tools, fittings, lumber. Everything you need to remodel, build, fix, and more.

Exceptional customer service on 10/21 at 7:25 pm in the appliance section! The gentleman working assisted me and another customer simultaneously! I was in and out with what I needed in less than 10 minutes! And he provided customer service with a smile! Others could learn from him! Well Done! Awesome! Thank you for making it easy for me to get what I needed!

Lowes employees may not always be experts in home-improvement issues, but they are always ready to answer questions and help you find what you might need.

This is my usual location for all things home improvement. Staff are always courteous, store is always clean. I can pretty much always find what I need, with the exception of parts for the mower I purchased at this location in 2010. As an added bonus, they have parking for veterans.

I needed a key copied. The people up front were able to point me in the right direction with zero confusion (I get easily confused, especially coming off an overnight shift at work) and I had a copy in 6 minutes flat. Kind, quick, and professional. Would definitely recommend.
