I took my Mac in for a checkup as fan was going continuously. Brian helped explain what was happening and came up with a good solution. Also, initially I agreed to purchase a backup system from the store, but realized that it wasn't a good fit for me. I was really impressed that Brian immediately took the system back, no charges. Highly recommend these professionals!

These guys are the Urgent Care for Macbooks. No upselling, no chaos, no ageism. I can't tell you how many anxiety attacks they've prevented. I go nowhere else for products and service.

I was frazzled and distraught over my computer issue. I had been trying to fix it for over 24 hours! I had never been to Dr. Mac, but had heard so many good things over the years. I walked in and the vibe was so serene! I felt more calm almost immediately, and my problem was solved in, literally, 2 minutes flat. Go to Dr. Mac! I am so thankful, and I bet you will be, too!

I am kicking myself for not having discovered "Dr. Mac" earlier. They saved our very sick old Macbook and did so quickly and remarkably inexpensively. Service and treatment of customers was great. Highly recommended.

The team at Doctor Mac are my heroes! Everyone was very welcoming and gave me wonderful advice. My Mac had suddenly stopped turning on and it was annoyingly just a week or so past my warranty. Brian suggested I give apple a call to see if they would be willing to give me an extension and they agreed! Thanks to the Doctor Mac team, my laptop is as good as new and I didn’t have to pay anything!

These guys are the real deal! It’s so rare to find experts who not only know their stuff (Apple, inside and out!) but take the time to explain the problem and offer you different repair options.

I visited a couple of days ago with an older laptop that was just too far gone. Instead of sticking me with an expensive repair bill, they told me that purchasing a new laptop was my best bet… and even offered suggestions on which model to purchase based on my job.

For all their wonderful advice, they didn’t charge me a cent. But I can assure you, when the time comes for a repair or an accessory purchase: DoctorMac will be the place for me!

Excellent work by the two personable gentleman working there. Usually finishes before i expect and their repairs are impeccable. Even Apple recognizes the excellent quality of their work. And no lines lol!!

Absolutely love the team at Doctor Mac. I was skeptical as I had never been to a none apple store to repair my Mac before. These guys had a warranty repair for me that was fantastic, even after apple sent the wrong logic board they called me back replaced it and backed up my information. They are brilliant I would recommend them over and over, especially because there are no lines like the apple store.

This place was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I bought my new computer through them. Every person I communicated with through email and phone calls was kind, courteous, and patient. When my new machine arrived, they migrated all of my old files to the new machine and then helped me upgrade all of my software. James, the tech who helped me in person, is very knowledgable and good at what he does. This place went above and beyond to help me and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. We have brought multiple computers (both desktops and MacBooks) to DoctorMac. They are fair, professional and reasonable. They were able to have my MacBook repaired within days. I will definitely be buying my next computer from them - they truly are the best!

Amazing, customer-oriented service. I brought my malfunctioning laptop to James at Doctor Mac on a Friday. James was very kind and understanding and worked hard to resolve the issue. He called several times during the process to keep me informed of what he was doing, and had my machine in better-than-ever condition by the next afternoon. For all the trouble they went through, the speed of their work and the emotional pain they saved me, the price was very reasonable.

I am so incredibly thankful that Doctor Mac is open and happy to serve the community, and remained so during the height of the pandemic. Highly recommend Doctor Mac and would happily return.

Very friendly and very prompt service. I’ve brought two computers here. They gave their *best guess* at what the issue was and then a few potential outcomes (“if it’s X, it’s probably too expensive to be worth replacing”). With both computers very quick turnaround and professional service. I would recommend this store to anyone with an out of warranty, vintage, or obsolete Mac, and if I have any issues in the future, I’ll be coming back to this shop.

After trying to delete everything on my MacBook Air from 2015 I accidentally deleted literally everything, to the point my computer didn’t know it was a computer but they had it fixed and ready in less then 24 hours and they were both so friendly and helpful, there was no wait, it was so easy to get an appointment, this is definitely more convenient then going to apple!!!!

Consistently great experiences with Doctor Mac techs and equipment purchases. Our team definitely recommends this team of highly qualified Mac experts. Whether it's a new purchase, a service, a repair or an emergency, they take the time to really work with you and provide the best guidance, solutions and support possible. My company has been using Doctor Mac as a tech vendor for almost 10 years and we'd never go anywhere else.

I resumed my undergraduate program and decided to purchase a refurbished MacBook Pro. It was agreed and honored that the laptop would exchange owners in excellent condition. Now four years later, I would still rather save $$$ and purchase another refurbished laptop from the DoctorMac store in Irvington, NY. However, they no longer render that particular service. Unfortunately, this time, I will definitely have to bite the bullet and purchase a brand new laptop. Needless to say, if I am ever in between warranties and have any issues w/ my future device, outside of the manufacturer, I would rather use DoctorMac's reputable services than any other company. DoctorMac, thank you for standing for excellence!

This place is absolutely fantastic! Writing this review is the first thing I'm doing with my newly repaired macbook pro. The service Doctor Mac was able to provide was fast, quality and miles ahead of what apple and the genius bar can provide. The staff and owners/managers were a pleasure to work with, and they were able to help me save an enormous amount of money on my repair.

Emails regarding the status of my repair were always answered promptly, and getting someone on the phone was always easy too, both before and during the time they had my computer. Apple can't even come close to the kind of personal service they provide. They don't seem to check their voicemail very often (who does though....) so if no one answers the phone, call back in 5 minutes and you'll get someone, and more importantly an answer to your question. Try doing that by calling apple care and see how far that gets you.

Overall I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Bill was just a great source of information, knowledge and support! During the Covid19 shelter-in, it is is more important than ever to have a working and reliable device. He really helped out. I should be picking up my refurbished laptop any day now. Thanks!

Update on 5/12/20... Bill once again came to the rescue! I was having some camera issues that was just a small issue. I completed the online survey and he quickly respond with his wisdom and support. Big thanks!
