Rob is the most knowledgeable HomeDepot employee that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. He even loaded the van further in so the weight does not stay on the back side too much. Amazing!

Valerie in the doors department was very kind and knowledgeable. We were having issues with our garage and she was able to help us. We got a great quote and door design for a screen door for our back door. Can’t wait to get it installed. She also explained the perks to having a Home-depot card and as a new home owner we understood we could benefit from It.

Could've been 4 stars but my standards have adjusted to the lower level of customer treatment at stores these days i guess. Nobody was particularly nice, friendly, or welcoming, or helpful but i guess that's par for the course these days. Or at least around Illinois. But the store itself was nice overall. I went in and out through garden center and never went in the main store which makes big points too actually

It was good but they only had 1 employee wgo operated the radial arm saw and it had safeguards that limited the size of wood one could put into it. I wanted a 6 X 6 cut, could not do it. Plus had to wait until he was done with the customer before me and he was vary slow.

I ordered some trivial stuff online for pickup, and was a little embarrassed to have done this. But I knew what I wanted, knew it was in stock, and was in a hurry. The pickup involved the lockers in the entrance. And that whole experience went extremely smoothly. I was in and out within two minutes. Parking took longer! I recommend this.

I bought a toilet and three young ladies stopped what they were doing to assist me loading it in my truck Shannon, Ellen and Eunice when LC saw us struggling he immediately ran over and said ladies I got this. This is what I call great customer service and team work. I am forever grateful for the Homewood team they are the best. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I initially put an order in at the Homewood IL location the night before only to get a call at about 1230 in the afternoon the next day that none of the items were actually in stock (though the website said they had quite a few). They canceled my order. I drove to this location and right away Joan and Anthony were beyond patient and helpful and confident that I would get taken care of with figuring out and getting the discounts applied that went through on my initial order at the garbage location in Homewood.
Mocha at customer service was just phenomenal and kind and the associate she called up front to load up my purchase was equally kind! Home Depot should be proud and grateful to have such great employees, as they are the reason I will now only shop here for any of my home needs.

I also like the new self cashier systems they have installed, simple steps to follow and the money slots are mistake proof. No dropping change and missing the slot.!!

My experience at Home Depot in Matteson, IL. was a very satisfying one. I called Home Depot in Matteson first to make sure they had the merchandise I was looking for which was a mini fridge. The person I spoke to on the phone was very patient as well as informative she took the time to inform me of the different types of mini fridges that were available as well as the pricing. The Information and patience she provided helped me save time as well as money. Thank you!
