Experimax of Haymarket

I had the ultimate near disaster with my laptop, a Microsoft Surface. It literally got crushed (don't ask - long story) and on it were reams of data, files, etc. compiled over more than a decade. Of course I had it all backed up - or so I thought - but determined my backup protocols decided to go haywire about 18 months ago. So, no current backup of my data, and a series of sleepless nights beset me.

I was referred to this shop by the Geek Squad at Best Buy, who initially determined that my shattered laptop was DOA. Owner Bob Glass was on this project like a tick : he considered it a professional challenge. I left the mangled carcass of my laptop with him. "No promises", he said. "I will do my best".

About three days later he called, and of course I feared the worst. He quietly said to me that they were able to recover all my data and files, AND they were able to mirror my hard drive. He briefly explained how his team did it: it sounded like a team of cardiologists performing a heart transplant.

Can't speak highly enough of Bob and his team. A computer wizard if there ever was one.

Worth every penny! The customer service team as well as the owner, fixed my phone quickly while also making sure to do the job properly. They communicated very well making sure to update me on anything I needed to know. Quality service at a very reasonable price. If you are going to spend money to repair a device make sure to go here! 10/10 recommend!

The owner is very knowledgeable about computers and their ins and outs. The shop presents with a professional staff and caring demeanor. When I brought my computer in after my mistake in causing it challenges, he took the time to fully understand what had happened and then to explain possible scenarios of what I was facing. He gave options for the fix depending upon how much damage would be found and was extremely helpful in the problem-solving process. My computer is now working again, and I am deeply grateful for the service provided. I felt safe using them and would recommend their services to anybody in the area.

My laptop was broken and I brought it to UbreakIfix to transfer data to a new laptop.
They spent one day but they couldn't transfer data because I forgot my Microsoft account password.
So, I went to Experimax in Haymarket and the owner, Bob immediately recovered my Microsoft account and transferred data to my new laptop.
His service was outstanding and my life saver.
I highly recommend this place whenever you have any computer issues.

I had an issue with my MAC running really slow with the latest version of the IOS Sonoma and Bob at Experimax was super accommodating fixing my computer and upgrading it to an even faster MAC than before within three days. My PC is running so much better than before and I want to thank Bob for a great job and I highly recommend his shop for anyone needing similar services.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable Apple products repair and reseller. Locally owned small business. So far they’ve save me several hundred dollars by repairing my MacBook Pro and Apple Watch. I go here before trying to get an appointment and making the to the impersonal always too busy Apple Store.

I had an external hard drive loaded with pictures and videos, along with documents that stopped working and my laptop wouldn't recognize all of the sudden. I went to Best Buy Geek Squad and they couldn't help, but recommended Experimax in Haymarket. What a blessing! Bob was fantastic! He kept me informed and was able to recover everything on my hard drive, and it was ready for me to pick up the next day! I can't thank him enough for saving all those precious memories! I would definitely recommend Experimax and will look to them to help me with any future technology issues.

Excellent experience getting the cracked back of my iPhone 14Pro fixed. Cheaper than going to Apple with an Apple product. Finished in the time promised. Great job.
