Great produce stand. Lots of fresh local fruit and produce. The staff are friendly. Ask them for recommendations! Prices are good. Why are you still buying produce at Safeway?

My favorite place to shop for groceries in Hayward! Their prices on most produce are significantly better than what you’ll find in almost any grocery store. Their products are sourced locally, sometimes from only a few miles away. Of course as many of their products are organic and not treated with as many pesticides you will want to use them fairly quickly as they do spoil, but I see this as a food thing! The employees are all fantastic and really kind, always happy to talk if you have questions. If you’re nearby this should be your first stop for produce!

Very friendly, if you need mint they will get it for you from the back. Cash for less than 20? Been going here 5 years.

Good Mexican guys doing honest and reliable business! Everything is organic and looks great! Spend $42 for the two full bags of vegetables and fruits which will last for about a week in a household of 4 people. Definitely a place going to come back and buy organic groceries. Not a place for people who love fancy shopping in Whole Foods. Love to support local business and definitely guys keeping up well with the fruits and vegetables standards

Great place for cheap produce with excellent variety. Always have in season fruits and veggies very cheap. Also has some interesting imports and such. Good spice rack.

Updating my review for 2017. This place has gotten better with its new owner. The place feels cleaner and more organized, and the selection of non-produce items has expanded to include gourmet local cheese, pastas, beans, and dried fruits and such. It used to be a place to supplement the usual grocery store run, but it's starting to be able to replace the grocery store altogether. The staff continues to be very friendly.

Great fruit stand. The quality and variety of product reflects the service and care of this family own business. If you don't see your item, check with owner before leaving. He may not had a chance to restock. Take the time to look around, you may find your favorite exotic fruit. Everyone has on masks.

I shop here at least twice a month. They carry everything you would expect a produce stand to carry, plus they have bread, some canned goods, juices, etc. Prices are always cheaper than a grocery store ($.99 for a nice head of lettuce vs. Lucky for $1.79). They also carry a large selection of spices and herbs, both fresh and dried. The people who own it are friendly and knowledgeable, and gladly answer questions and make suggestions. Parking is free. They don't take credit cards, but they accept debit cards ($.50 surcharge if the amount is less than $10; over $10 there's no additional charge.)

the best freshly roasted peanuts! growing up in amsterdam, we had some good local shops.. it has been about 12 years and these are the best ones in the US so far 😇 super friendly, and a good experience.

Cute little produce stand. Interesting options outside the normal grocery store fare, plus a smattering of baked goods. The guy at the checkout counter was friendly and knowledgeable, too.

Lowest prices for produce in Hayward, very "farm to fork" if you know what I mean. Lots of variety if you get there in time! Credit cards are an extra 50¢ if you spend under $10.
