Cemetery Beach Park

Port Hedland is a mining town. There are lots of 4wds, miners and some beautiful sunsets.
One of the must do experiences would be watching the huge ships come and go in & out of the harbour and then go around the corner & have a drink & a meal at the beautiful Esplanade Hotel.

Cemetery Park is great for the family. Playground, bbq, beach + restrooms. .

A lovely clean grassy park area, with a great modern kids pay area, completely fenced. Toilets and bbq’s here, with the ocean view, a nice place to stop and rest, or cool up with friends.

Wonderful spot to share a meal and watch the ships and the locals walking their dogs and children enjoying the playground.

Beautiful long Beach. When the tide goes out It goes out a long way .Some stingers around.

Love watching the turtles in natural habitat.
Great for walking around the area.

We came here to try to see some sea animals, sadly no luck but the views were great and make sure you keep walking the main paths so you can do the main coastal walk of Port Headland. It’s lovely and a very flat easy walk.

Lovely spot bit of a steep trek down to the river

Sunset at Cemetery Beach, had a lovely picnic then a walk along the beach. A perfect way to finish a hot day in Hedland.

I love love this place. Lovely picnic areas with council BBQ's, toilets available (they flush when you wash your hands... awesome). Go up to the lookout area, everytime I visit I see turtles, so cool!

Beautiful grassed shady areas with playground, beach, toilets, BBQ's and parking areas. Fishing off the rocks at high tide is also possible.

Amazing park! Good for a rest or a picknick. Plenty of benches and tables, with shade. Enough parking space. There are bbqs and watertabs. A clean and spacious toilet. Loved the turle watching with the telescope!

Not a bad joint, just got to fight the Gray nomads for a spot

Beautiful place fantastic area what else can i say this is where my wife and i got married. So yes a wonderful spot. If your lucky you might get to see the turtles.
