The Esplanade Hotel

This place is what I’d call a getaway. Getaway from the Haze of Port Hedland. Sitting in the courtyard shielded by an impressive historical building, covered overhead with lights and great atmosphere. It feels like you’re not even in Hedland anymore. A great escape. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was impressive. Highly recommend the chicken Parmy. Perfectly cooked. The lack of the constant high vis also good to see.

Dined here solo - a 3 course treat. Natural oysters fresh, plump and a zangy dressing to the side.
Main - the seared salmon on a bed of rice, with zesty radish I think. The rice was so plump and delicious I couldn't finish it or risk losing my dessert mojo. Salmon seared to perfection.
As a wise hospitality lady (My Aunt) once told me. Peope love main course, but one thing they never forget is a good dessert.
The lime and coconut panne or panine I'm a bit ignorant... has to be the best explosion of flavours I have had all year or for several. Party in the mouth! Coconut & lime always pair nicely, and the scattered crumbs of very tasty origin sealed the deal.
I left a cash tip and excused myself to go back to my accommodation and pass out horizontally.
The waitress squealed with delight and ran out thanking me.
Go there. Enjoy and tip.
I can only hope Fremantle lives up to the same quality.

It is also picturesque, outdoor indoor dining in a stunning Heritage looking three storey venue. I will absolutely book here when the room renovations are complete.

Good to see a pub with high food standards. I had the calamari and the barramundi, both were outstanding. A well kept garden setting and friendly efficient service. Well done!

Wow what a place! The service, food and drinks were amazing. The place itself is absolutely stunning, what a hotel!

Best food in Port Hedland and great outdoor dining area which is family friendly for kids to enjoy the large grassed area... Whilst the prices are on the expensive side, the serving size, quality & taste is exceptional! Have had the sirloin steak, salt & pepper squid & lemon grass prawns during my 3 visits and all were delicious. Will be going back the next time I'm up that way for work I'm sure...

Had a meal at the Esplanade Hotel. Was very impressed with the service and food. Steak was cooked to perfection. Lovely welcoming atmosphere set outside. Loved all the lights in the trees. I am sorry I have only just discovered this place. 🍲 🌟

A group of us went to the Esplanade hotel for a surprise birthday dinner for my fiancé. Like most businesses, I'm sure they've been affected by staff shortages but everything was on point. All of our meals were delicious and we didn't have to wait long for them at all. Our waitress Crissie deserves a pat on the back. She was very attentive throughout the night and even helped dress up the cake. Kudos 👏🏻

Good steak and chips, generous serve, nice sitting outside, service was excellent and very friendly.

Port Hedland's best watering hole bar none. Overpriced, but the food is still excellent and the beer & wine cold! Also, the wait staff are friendly and very good at their jobs. HIGHLY recommended!

Had dinner on Sunday 27 June on our road trip from Perth. As regular diners at various venues across the state, the Esplanades Restaurant was a standout. The wait person, a lovely Canadian girl was amazing. She was professional, friendly and attentive and provided excellent service. The menu was excellent, so many choices of interest and making it difficult to chose. We had steak, which were both cooked to perfection and served with delicious vegetable sides. Desert was was equally delectable. Definitely five stars to the Chef and his staff. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal. Would definitely go there again. The room is nice and clean but it would be better to include the ironing stuff. Nice balcony where you can chill out if you want to have a quite time for yourself. Had ordered a roast pork belly for dinner. The meat was tender and juicy however the crackles were made separately. Most of all, the staff were friendly, courteous and accommodating. Would definitely my choice if I'm coming to Port Hedland again 😘

The service was fantastic. I have never had steak served so quickly after ordering before!, it was very well presented and tasted amazing! The desert was fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely. I do wish there were more options on the menu but other than that I was very impressed.

My first trip to Port Hedland and I think I really lucked out. Booked the Esplanade on a whim and found myself in a well-priced, well-appointed hotel that's hard to find a fault with.
Greatly enjoyed the staff at the bar, but the restaurant was the biggest surprise. This might be the best meal I've eaten since moving to the North West. It was simple fare: really just steak, potatoes and salad, but the meat was cooked to perfection and the clearly quality produce was just allowed to speak for itself. A really delicate touch from the chef that paid off.
Would happily come back and stay in a heartbeat.

We had two 2 dogs with us and staff directed us to a table that would suit us with our dogs they even supplied water for our pets.The food was good and quick to arrive. A very enjoyable time for us both will

Despite reaching there about 10 mins before the kitchen closes, they didn't rush us and the food that came to bout table was outstanding. Everything was so perfect as well as the customer service. All the staff were amazing. Thanks guys. Will definitely come back
