Port Hedland Seafarers Centre

Great place with an amazing purpose...providing support to seafarers from around the world during the time they are in Port Hedland. We did their harbour tour today taking Christmas presents out to ships and picking up sailors who were coming to shore...sometimes for the first time in months.

Awesome tour, thoroughly recommend it. Great informative session conducted in the chapel then a cruise around the working harbour.

The captain was really friendly and great with the kids, the tour was excellent and so interesting!

We joined the tour this morning which involved boarding a boat and collecting sailors off the ships in the harbour who wanted to come ashore in Port Healand. The volunteer tour 'guides' spoke clearly and presented intetesting facts about the port operations. They were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this tour.

This is the most amazing place I have seen for years. The information was great. These people do a fabulous job looking after the numerous seafarers who love this place. Good on you.

Cool tour for port headland info

Best tour, very informative, lovely staff, souvenirs affordable best of all the Seafarers are helping seamen and women's excellent free service and backup to them.

A must place to go. We went on the two tours on offer. One a harbour cruise where seafarers who wanted to go ashore hopped on. They love going to the Centre where they are cared for with love and practical help. The second was a bus tour to Fortesque Mine. This was fantastic with a great commentary. Both places are not accessible to the general public, only the tour. Very happy with the experience.

Learned alot from the seafarers induction of how the organisation first started, the mission and challenges of seafarers. The boat tour was an insight to port hedland and the commercial activities undertaken there

Lovely morning outing. Very informative on what they stand for. Nice cruise around the harbour. Well worth the trip.

Staff very nice, nice clothes but very expensive

Very good amenities offered by the club. Free food, rides to nearby supermarket and back to ship. Overall a nice experience and don't forget to collect souvenirs

What's an example model for a seamens club.
Very punctual and luxurious (compared to some others) service, over-friendly and dedicated stuff and all for us guys.
