Emergency room wait time is lesser than normal. I don’t know what is improving but last two time, we could see the doctor with in 4 hours. I expect more than 12 hours but happy that we could find see the doctor in 4 hours. Thank you 😊

Was very ill with the Srv virus (which I found out later) and a major lung infection. We only waited three hours in the waiting room NP Glenna Gallant and nurse Claire were awesome. They got down to treatment immediately. December 23/23

I went to emergency on Monday afternoon and was in very much distress,was taken to triage and assessed as soon as I walked in through the doors,there was a bit of a wait time as to be expected but I have to say that I was taken care of very quickly and I want to say that the attending Doctor Robin Grant and my nurse Ben were the very best to me,my experience there was the best ever and I so appreciated everyone from the lab right on down,no complaints from me …about the care I received there,Thank You All for everything,God bless each and every single one of you…♥🙏

On May 24th. 2023 I went for a bone density test and was quickly shown in and tested and the technicians were very helpful and courteous.

Excellent experience with Ultrasound appt today. On time and wonderful friendly professional technician...wish I had got her name...she was wearing an all yellow uniform. Excellent experience...super 'bedside' manner...couldn't have been better! Thank you A +++++++

I have had 2 colonoscopies in the Day Procedures part of this hospital and they were superb. Friendly nursing staff, a streamlined process, excellent care, a superb Doctor, and a great facility with easy paid parking. I would rather drive here from Halifax than drive into downtown Halifax.

I just want to say thank you to all the wonderful health care professionals who looked after me in a timely manner. Even the commissioner encouraged me to stay despite a full room.

We had a great experience here today. Long wait time yes but when we did get in the nurses were amazing and Dr Holland was really amazing, super thorough and properly cares for his patients. We didn't feel rushed or not taken care of. Great team on staff and great Dr. :)

My only experience is with the women and children’s unit as I had a baby there recently! The care We received was exceptional from all doctors and nurses. They went above and beyond to make sure we were healthy and happy and comfortable. We have nothing but good to say of the whole experience!

I had day surgery today the nurses were the best I ever had. They were the most professional people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting in a good way. Hospitals usually get a bad rap and,I just want to say it's not the personal, in my experience they were the greatest. I really would appreciate it if you could pass the message along to them,they definitely deserve a pat on the back!!!

To all of the whiners and complainers offering negative comments about this hospital and/or staff I would suggest that you refrain from using it.

The staff and service provided are consistently excellent as the majority of users will attest to. If your situation did not conclude as you had hoped perhaps the problem lies with yourself or was due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Patients and visitors have no idea how dedicated, kind and overworked hospital staff are as they work within a difficult system and service an ungrateful and often rude public.

It costs you nothing to be kind. Please try it. You might like it.

Dr. Marshall and the female nurses there are so amazing and caring. The only downside is waiting time, but it’s worth it if you want a correct diagnosis and treatment. Tip: go early in the morning. you’ll get in right away as long as there’s not a lot of other people waiting.

During the month of July 2019, I visited the emergency room at Truro hospital three times and their imagining department twice during the course of my husband's final illness. On each visit we were treated kindly, courteously, and intelligently. Everything that was possible was done. When the only recourse was Palliative care, it was provided promptly. The grief of our family was somewhat mitigated by the respect and helpfulness of staff. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience.

The day surgery staff were excellent on my 2 visits of Feb 19 and Mar 20/19. They were caring, attentive and professional. They were aware of my claustrophobia and took care to ensure that I felt comfortable at all times. Thank you all.

I had my gall bladder removed August 29. From the pre-op information meeting, to recovery after the operation (including making appointments, getting directions, etc.), everyone I encountered was cheerful and friendly, but also respectful, and always very professional. My entire experience was excellent, Canadian healthcare at its finest in my view. I want to thank especially Dr. McKenna and the entire OR team. They always made me feel confident that I was in good hands, and you can't ask better than that.

My first visit to CEHHC was for routine x-rays. Arrived in advance of my appointment time, sailed through the registration process with a kind and understanding administration staff, the wait was minimal and the technical staff courteous. Parking wasn't a problem (paid parking, as with most hospitals). The information desk, just inside the main doors, provided great directions on where to go within the hospital. All-in-all, a very good first experience. 😊

I have been here many times , and the staff looked after me very well. I had my son here in 2013 and they were wonderful. I am sure they did as much as the IWK and possibly more with fewer patients to look after and divide their time.

Just want to say thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff, including the volunteers, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre's Emergency Department for getting me through a nerve wracking experience. Let no one say the younger generation is a bust. They are running this place and doing fine.

I spent 21/2 weeks with badly infected leg and problems with my heart. I got the very best care by the doctors and the amazing nursing staff on the 3rd floor.

Absolutely the best Nurse and Doctor staff hands down...when you have a family emergency this is the place to go.

They have so much patience (no pun intended)
