Restaurante La Albufera

I visited El Palmar as a food lover and had the best paella everat Restaurant Abulfera! My taste buds are still celebrating it! Loved the atmosphere and Ramiro who spoke such great English was so helpful and kind and helped me with the menu. I had paella made with chicken, rabbit and snails. The homemade croquettes were delicious Very generous portion size and it had a takeaway pack done nicely for me. I will highly recommend a visit to the home of paella.
However, be warned about it being very pricey! Paid 55euros for one person! The most expensive bill had during my visit to Valencia.

Went there with mixed emotions...between ***** and * . didn't regret the visit. Food was served in due time (even we got info how much longer till its ready)was tasty (just don't like to clean the Scampi myself-very hot ...thats why 1 star less). Salmon Tatar was great (price a bit high) the Paella for 2 also 👍 (price mhh)...in my opinion for 3 people. Good cold Cava...so we left with good feelings and our waiter was very OK 🙏. 3 person 2 starters 2main food 2 glass wine 1 water 1 bottle cava around 150€ fyi 😉

La Albufera is very close to the El Palmar bus station. We ordered the seafood and fish boat and Paella. The seafood tasted fresh and the Paella was one of the best ones. The servers were very friendly. Our server David heated the Paella for us when it got cold and also helped us charge our phone. If you visit El Palmar, be sure to drop by for a nice experience.

Andy, thank you so much for your a great service. The seafood Paella, the tomato burrata salad and the ham croquettes were delicious! And for dessert Andy recommended us torrijas and crème brûlée, both were excellent, but the torrijas won my heart. Please try their new rice cocktail, it’s really good.

Amazing restaurant. The Valencian sells was superb, they have veggie paella even if not advertised. The mussels were very nice and the price really good. Ask for a seat with view to the fields, they are beautiful.

The staff let us cook paella in the kitchen. Very flavorful and authentic ! A definite “must stop” when in Valencia (the home of paella)

Incredible food, the staff makes you feel at home and the prices are great. Seriously, one of - if not THE - best paellas I've ever had. The only downside is that the location is quite an hassle to get to with public transport, but oh my god is it worth it. By all means, go try it.
One special mention to Juan Carlos, the waiter, one of the most welcoming and kind men I've ever met.

We stopped her for almuerzo yesterday. Not busy during the week, so we had drinks and two appetizers. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, enjoyed his bantz. The tables and chairs outside are clean, the location is perfect for exploring Albufera.

I liked it here. Large dining area with outside seating options. Friendly and professional waiting service. Food was excellent. Wide range of paellas y arroces. Seating times for lunch at 1330 & 1500. Book in advance for weekends.

Good food and really nice attentive service. The eel soup was the best dish was the best. There’s free parking behind the restaurant which is nice when it gets crowded.

With such a choice of restaurants in the village we are so glad we chose La Albufera for our Sunday lunch. Excellent location superb service and most importantly great tasty food. Well recommended.

Menu of the day is €15.90 and you get three starters, a paella and a dessert/coffee. Very generous serving size! The staff speak good english and are friendly. It’s a nice place to eat outside and is also next to the bus stop on the way back to Valencia. A good place to eat!

First time ever trying paella! So incredibly delicious! Service was excellent! We had multiple courses, and everything was divine!

Great paella, very kind algerian waiter, the calamari were very fresh ! I highly recommend after a good walk or a tour on the lake. Plus the wifi works very well and the terrace is in front of a beautiful fountain.

The black rice paella was absolutely amazing and the portions were huge, the one shown in the picture was for two people!
