Parador de El Saler

I've greatly enjoyed staying at this Paradores hotel. Big territory with an easy access to the sea (with almost nobody there), a swimming pool comfortable to swim and play with kids, friendly personnel (not everybody speaking English, but more than enough to understand you and provide with what you ask), big numbers (it was comfortable for two adults and two children under 7) with big TV with Chromecast function, so you can easy watch any movie you want.

And what was unexpectedly great - it's food at the restaurant. The tastiest I've got in Valencia so far. Huge portions, even in kids menu!
Breakfasts was average, but restaurant made my day.

Highly recommend to stay here.

It is quite far from the València. You need a car to stay here. The area great if you want to relax. The SPA is not but I have seen better.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but played the golf course and used the restaurant. Highly recommend, some really tough holes in gorgeous scenery. food and facilities were excellent.

The Parador hotels are a national treasure. Some are literal historical gems.
This is the golfers paradise. A gorgeous course in the midst of a natural park with views of the med and direct beach access.

The food here is a treat and has excellent selections of local fair to enjoy.
I highly recommend a stay here if you have the opportunity or just want to swing some clubs.

Excellent location in the middle of the dunes and surrounded by a golf course. Direct access to the “wild” beach and kilometers of hiking paths. While the building an its style is bit aged it is very well maintained.
Staff was nice across the hotel.
Covid measures strictly enforced.
Hint: standard rooms face west, which means land side but with afternoon sun and sunset. Higher room categories face east featuring sea view.

Lovely golf course, tough track ⛳😅

Nice hotel in an incredible spot. Facilities could be a bit improved but the area (Albufera Natural Park) is really a special location: next to a really overwhelming, long and wild beach, being the hotel very little invasive to wild life there. The golf course is among one of the best in Spain: long, awesome views and well designed with very few artificial unnecessary features but definitely a difficult one: you'll have to play straight or you won't play :) anything out of the fairway is a lost ball

The location is wonderful, located right in the National Park. You're surrounded by nature and all you hear is the sound of birds chirping, it's so peaceful! There's a space for everyone, whether you like to play golf, want to relax by the pool, or want to take advantage of their private access to the beach.

My partner and I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food was delicious. I also can't recommend the staff enough, everyone was so so friendly and welcoming, it made us feel right at home!

The Parador at El Saler remains a welcoming oasis of peace just outside Valencia. Staff is professional, nice and friendly. Andres, in particular, was very approachable, and super attentive to every need we might have. Angel also made sure we had a table promptly ready at the restaurant every night. The staff, facilities and privileged location are the ingredients of a perfect vacation. We shall return next year, as we have been doing every summer for several years already. There is no real summer vacation for my family without a stay here.

Wonderful hotel with helpful, friendly staff. In a protected area, so quiet and peaceful. Great for golf but also perfect for non-golfers. Beach usually empty.
A perfect getaway. Recommended.

Our family of five spent an unforgettable week in El Saler in summer 2021, and we’ve enjoyed it so much that we returned again in December. Both times we selected the suite (‘habitación única), with their special dinner menu, tasting every night eight different dishes, an excellent breakfast in the room, and access to the Spa. Located some 20 km South of Valencia, it is easy to reach the city by cab or rental car. However, what is especially important to us is that the Parador offers quietness and the sense of security during the COVID19 pandemic. Guests enjoy the direct access to the beach, and there is plenty of room for everyone on the enormous golf fields. El Saler works with local environmental organizations to clean the beach and recover the original fauna; together with the Xaloc organization, they have managed to recover the "Tortuga Boba".
We’ve met an outstanding Golf instructor, who patiently helped us learning some fundamental techniques of the game. The staff of El Saler exceeds all expectations: they made all necessary arrangements, gave lots of fantastic advice and helped with getting to the airport in time with all our oversized luggage.
I recommend that everyone considers the Parador el Saler as a top destination. Over the last 20 years my wife and I had visited many Paradores, always impressed by the culture, history, gastronomy, and privileged location. Parador El Saler is our favorite of all the Paradores we have visited; we are looking forward to returning very soon.

(EDITED in summer 2022) We spent four nights at the Parador recently, and we had a fantastic time once again. The meals were outstanding, a breakfast with wonderful options and the lunch/dinner menu offering a great selection of local products and a good selection of wines. This Parador is an excellent destination for those looking for a quiet place to enjoy nature, play golf, and have amazing food. The service in the restaurant is outstanding; great to see some of the waiters from our previous visit again. They are very attentive and made great recommendations. I hope they will offer the "habitacion unica" again and I look forward to returning next year.

This parador is very nice, the room is spacious, the surrounding is peaceful with the nature and beautiful golf course. The food at the restaurant was so good, I would like to thanks a few of their staffs from the restaurants - Juan, M. Teresa and Andres. They were super kind and always serves us with a smile. Andres was so detailed that he light up a candle for us because he saw me and my daughter was biten by mosquitos while we are having our dinner. We appreciate this kind gesture. The lifeguard that gives us the towel at the swimming pool was very friendly and always serves with a smile too. We enjoyed alot our stay there with our 5 years old daughter. Beach, nature, swimming pool, great food...we will be back for sure! Thanks everyone for making our stay a memorable one :)

Another wonderful stay at El Saler what more could one want, an excellent golf course, the hotel modern with all rhe facilities you could wish for and above all friendly helpful staff. Now my third visit and as that famous actor once said ' I'll be back'.

Amazing golf course. Hotel is good. Service a little varied with some excellent some grumpy!

I have played el saler on two separate occasions and the course is a real test of golf, the course is part links course and part Forrest course, has some tough holes in the Forrest and some stunning holes by the beach.
I would recommend playing this course,higher handicapped golfers may struggle on the longer holes and their are a good few blind tee shots.
No water on the course unlike most others in Spain.

This is a fantastic course, hard but great to play with great views along the side of the sea. Would definitely recommend.

Top quality hotel. Very good r restaurant, but also very good for the y rest of the facilities. All for a reasonable price.
