Costco Gateshead

Costco is a membership-based warehouse that offers bulk products at discounted prices. The membership fee can be worth the cost if you plan to shop here often and take advantage of the savings. The prices of most products are cheaper than the market price, but it requires buying in bulk, which might not work for everyone.
The products cover a variety of categories including groceries , electronics, clothes, gardening, books and a lot more.
The food section offers a good meat selection, DIY kits, and hot meals at cheap prices. They also have a corner for tires and opticals.
It also has a food shop, which offers amazing food and drinks for budget-friendly prices. The fuel prices are the cheapest I have seen around the city.

Absolutely lovely staff. Great selection of goods. Some things are great bargains but some aren't bargains at all. It's worth checking online fpr the price of goods to see if its cheaper else where. Definitely worth the price of the card as the saving on petrol alone csn pay for it over the year depending on how far you travel.

I had a fantastic experience at Costco today. As always, we found an abundance of bulk bargains, with an extensive selection to choose from. The quality of their products is consistently amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our shopping trip even more enjoyable. Costco remains a top-notch shopping destination for us!

My visit was quite pleasant, arrived with a space and inside was large, with expensive to cheap items in bulk. Went to the restaurant and how divine some of the foods were.

Very helpful staff at membership desk. Good selection of food and tasters around the store. I like that you know exactly what your paying as the vat inclusive price is also displayed. Toilet facilities and you can grab a bite to eat or a cup of coffee. Prices are very reasonable. Free car park but very busy.

Great place to buy food in bulk. They do great cakes and pastry.

They offer many different quality services to their nembers, like special prices on new cars, rental cars, insurances, etc etc ...
I have been a member of Costco for many years starting in USA and now in UK ... in my ongoing experiences they are one of the best wholesale warehouse to shop both instore and online, they are 100% behind their products and inclusive of effective, efficient and friendly customer oriented services ...

Really like this Costco. It’s never too busy that you feel cramped or have to wait too long at the checkouts or cafe area. It has a nice selection of things to buy for home use or for business use.
I find they generally offer a decent price on most bulk products.
I particularly like the food platters, which are great for any sort of events or meetings.
They’re usually a must when we visit as they serve their purpose.

I do love the cafe at the end and their pizza is amazing! It’s great you can purchase this pizza in store too.

Great food delicious pizzas and hotdogs also you can now use a self-serve till to order your food!! Just dont go their hungry they do brownies cakes and all sorts they do a toy section for kids

Huge selection of items, at w/ends staff offer hot and cold samples of foods. Bulk buying is the order of the day. Clothing, electricals, garden furniture, a lot of varied items are sold. Local businesses use Costco, but its also great for families and big eaters! Yearly subscription fee is required. Petrol available- always much cheaper than high street petrol.

Great place, excellent TV selection and deals, the steaks are probably the best you can get.

Today was very busy but easy to get round and find what we needed and all well stocked!

Manic today, and the filling station is chocka as the fuel is good price. £1.389 ppl for premium diesel

I am a satisfied customer at Cosco Gateshead. No doubt about that. My review has to do, not so much with my experiences with staff, but an interesting observation I have just made as I sat in my vehicle as I waited for my daughter. Two men, took time to park their trolleys safely in the trolley park. Both men went as far as gathering badly parked trolleys before leaving the trolley park. Two women who came to park their trolleys in the same park just pushed them into without parking safely. I have no issues with women but this says something great about these two men. Kudos is all I can say. Keep up the good work.

Love a good Costco trip, find the fruit to be really good value! Also clothing section is always fantastic for practical clothing.
