Popped into Ori for a quick lunch before catching a matinee performance at the Theatre Royal. Despite NUFC playing at home, with Newcastle being very busy, service was quick and excellent. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic customer service. I ask where gentlemens gloves where and a sales assistant showed me. Once I picked a pair I enquired with another sales assistant about the gloves and after she offered to open a till and serve me I was shocked as didn't expect her to take me on a till! Fantastic service unlike Marks and Spencer!

Good retail shop . Went in to look at prams. For the daughter . Got more money off there than mamas and papas. (WHERE IT WAS JUST VOUCHER ) . so bought the pram. 😊

Only really visited the fragrance section but in there the staff were super helpful and friendly by helping me find what I wanted and gave me lots of free testers. Would definitely purchase from here again

Jennifer in the jewellery department was amazing! Thank you for your help as a guy who is useful at these things she was super helpful! This is the second time Jennifer has help with a bad history of buying gifts for the wife I was here last Christmas and my wife loved the necklace and back again for the birthday to get a matching bracket, thank you

There’s lots of items to suit all kinds of people, whether they are looking for a laptop, picture, gift, clothes, household gadgets, sports equipment, etc over 4 floors.

There’s also a lovely restaurant upstairs overlooking Eldon Square shopping mall. Great place for a coffee break.

Nice store, plenty of different stuff on offer. Once had to return some items and that went without a hitch, friendly staff and decent customer service.

I had issues with my phone and was worried it would have to be sent back to be repaired-I spoke to Lynn in tech support who quickly fixed the phone for me and it didn’t need sent back. Thank you so much Lynn :)

I go into town as little as possible to shop, but in the last 18 months, my two visits to Newcastle's John Lewis lingerie department have been second-to-none!
The first time, I left M and S after a dismal and fruitless hour of bra-shopping, and decided on the spur of the moment to try John Lewis, a store I never go into. Immediately I was attended to by Julie, who with tremendous care and attention, found 2 bras which fitted so nicely, I was thrilled.
Today, I was helped by Yvonne and another assistant in the lingerie department. Even though they were busy, I was made to feel welcome. Yvonne diligently and competently figured out my new size since losing weight, and again I felt very well treated.
Many thanks ladies, for another very enjoyable bra-shopping trip. Much appreciated!

Fantastic service from John Lewis delivery crew, Paul and John (North East England). They definitely went the extra mile to ensure that I was a very happy customer. Often, I find, people like these guys are very underrated, but on this occasion, I can’t speak highly enough about them. Five stars just isn’t enough!
Also, online ordering process was very easy. My new washing machine arrived on time and exactly as described.

I loved the pop up Christmas shop. I got a great gift set from the SeaTheLove stall in the Christmas shop.

We would like to commend partner Neil who met us in the basement at John Lewis and could not have been anymore helpful. We were looking to remove a security tag for an item previously purchased at the Cambridge branch and also wanted to exchange it for a smaller size- a difficult task as it was in a reduced line and further, the Cambridge branch uses a different type of security tag and the Newcastle store did not stock that particular dress. He navigated us through customer services and they could not help us, but he continued to use the internal communications for the John Lewis group to locate the item and organised another store to contact us and arrange delivery. We were really impressed with his level of service and commitment to customer satisfaction. He ought to be given an immediate promotion with the task to sort out the rest of John Lewis’s customer services! Thank you for all your help, Neil.

Trying to make my mind up between two wedding-guest dresses I popped into the personal styling service, just to ask for advice. There were no appointments available but a lovely lady (I think perhaps called Josta) came to my rescue, gave me advice that saved me making a costly mistake and even advised on hats and lingerie! Great service!

Had problems with my John Lewis APP. I went into Newcastle upon Tyne branch. Partner Will in computer / TV department sorted it out with ease and very helpful attitude. What a very pleasant young man. THANK YOU

I had 2 pieces of cake as I couldn't choose between them so I let hunger be my guide and it was the wiser choice. Red velvet cake and Earl Grey and something delicious plus a large mokka left me replete and smiling. I wished my mum could have been with me as she would have enjoyed the red velvet very much.

Would just like to say a very big thank you to the staff concerned in the cafe(in the Newcastle store) who came to help my friend when she wasn't feeling too well .Especially the lady (can't recall her name) who has a little boy,she was really lovely. And also to Neil who worked in the curtain department who escorted us to the exit and obtained a taxi for us. Thank you again you are a credit to the company.
