Great to see a physical music shop, a depressingly rare site these days. Good range of CDs and Vinyl. Some decent prices too, showing you don't have to just shop on line.

It's a really good store with quality clothing and merchandise, the prices are pretty good and overall I recommend.

Very well stocked with all sorts of cool stuff, books, Tee shirts, records, dvds , etc.. very good location inside the Eldon Square complex in central Newcastle... Competitively priced too...well worth checking out...

There are so many anime items to look for and their vinyl section is way more organised than the ones I've been too... for example, if you want to look for Disney vinyl, there's a separate section for it. It makes more sense than to cram all the soundtracks into one section!

Basically people do not go to the first floor. It is the heaven of music fans!

Was looking for a sci fi series on dvd. Didn't know where to start look but staff there very helpful and very knowledgeable about the dvd I wanted which surprised me as it's not to my knowledge a very well known series.

Fantastic selection of records (vinyls) and lovely staff, who were really patient waiting for us so they could lock up the shop. We had no idea! Will definitely be back

This is one of the best HMV's because of it's very helpful and knowledgable staff - not all music shops have music orientated staff, this one does, and they know their stuff. Highly recommended you shop here if you buy CDs or DVDs/BluRays or merchandise.
