Nice place for a short walk with the dog. 360° views from the top, could see Snowdonia, both the Ormes, the Welsh coast and as far as the Clwydian Range

This is well and truly a gem of a place that offers solitude and tranquility in volume. The woodland walk is by far the best in my opinion, but also the added bonus of the ruins, the summit trail… and the views are profound. With plenty of nooks and crannies to explore it is a great place to have a hike or just a gentle ramble… or to just gather your thoughts.
A local place to Rhos on Sea but nature at its best!

A beautiful walk up to the summit with amazing views on the way. One of the best views ever experienced. Nice light and easy climb, not too strenuous. Many places to sit along the way and easy signs to follow. Stunning views. A must visit

Beautiful walks and the ruins are worth the steps to go and look at. There is a more gentler way too. Brilliant for dogs and strengthening your calf muscles. Plenty of parking and kids would love it.

Very enjoyable signposted circular walk which is relatively easy once you have walked up from the car park. Fantastic views of the Conwy valley, Penrhyn Bay, Rhos On Sea, Colwyn Bay and along the North Wales coast from the summit.

Good fruit picking opportunities in the late summer with an abundance of blackberries and sloes.

Small car park at the bottom of the hill which can fill up quick. Litter bins and dog poo bins are provided and emptied regularly.

The only downsides are that some people don't pick up after their dogs on the field near the car park and the steps can be quite slippery when wet.

Great walk, steep steps up from car park and then easy trails. Popular with dog walkers. Fantastic views.

This was a 'childhood memories revisited' trip!
It's a relatively steep walk up and down with the most incredible views from the top.
The ruins of the former Conway family home are nearer the bottom and well worth a visit. There is parking at the bottom of Bryn Euryn.

Various different walking routes to the summit. Great views from the top. Car park probably big enough for about 12 cars. Plenty of street parking before the nature reserve though.

I love this place as it is beautiful and steeped in history. See the well preserved ruins of 16th century hall, the quarry from where the stones were fetched to build the hall. Choice of pathways through the woods converging on the limestone headland with wonderful views beyond.
Cowslips and bluebells in the spring, lush foliage in the summer. Perfect for a leisurely meander or a brisk hike.

A lovely place for a walk. There are paths of varying difficulty and stunning views from the top of the hill. Dog friendly with poo bins but you have to remember bags!

We are so lucky to have this on our door step here in Colwyn Bay. Wonderful walks and far reaching views.

Very popular with dog walkers with a range of terrains, some fairly level other parts quite steep. Mixture of forest and open spaces with a small ruins to explore.

Lovely area for walkies with the furry friends.

Can get a little muddy after rain.

Quite a few different trails so it can suit short or long walks, flat or up and down walking.

3.3 miles we did today (I think the dogs could have gone round again but I was knackered!!).

Good free car park which I think would take about 12 cars.

Lovely views at the top.

Lovely place to walk the dogs, make sure you are wearing decent walking shoes if wet as the stones are very slippy on the hills.

Great place to walk if you're fit. Not for anyone who struggles with gradients.
Even the lower walk contains steps and some steep stretches.

Always a great walk, your dog might be lucky enough to meet Alan who carries biscuits for all the dogs he comes across

This place has changed over the years. It was overgrown and dangerous but since the clean up, is now a lovely place to stop on your way up to the top.
