This is an amazing little place. Beautifully kept enclosures and public areas. Animals look happy and content in their environments. Looks like it's had a fair bit of money spent on it recently and it's looking fab.
Maybe not a place to spend the whole day if you've got kids. We don't have kids and were there for hours.
Loved the butterflies and free-flying finches. The goats are the most beautifully behaved goats I've ever met.
If you go to Anglesey, go visit. Even if you're not on Anglesey, go anyway.

So visited as a family of six two adults and 4 kids 5 to 12 ages. Visited as a recommendation the day before by a stranger who was at same place we was in.
All enjoyed.
Loved touching the bugs and some reptiles.
Many cute and strange animals.
Very interesting place with some animals and bugs that I've never seen.
Loved their huge axolotl, which made mine look tiny.
The play area was amazing, absolutely huge. There are plenty of benches for picnics and sit down.
Indoor play area also with a small cafe. Kids enjoyed the play area very much.
Staff were helpful, informative, and great.
On site shop was great. Bought some soft toys and priced well.
Many happy memory's defiantly worth the visit.

Fantastic day out. Full of fun. Animals, Butterflies and birds are well looked after. The butterfly house was the best we loved as a family. It has a soft play area indoors and 2 play areas outside for the kids to play in. There was also a good range of creatures to view such as reptiles, insects, etc. Fairly crowded places as there isn't much space when it's busy. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for a young family to visit. Lots of variety in the animals on show here. The play area outside was nicely maintained and looked a great challenge for the children. Inside the soft play areas were fun looking but as no adults were allowed in the older children’s area, we didn’t really get to see what was going on inside.
We had a few of the food options. I get that the children’s boxes are expensive but it’s a supply and demand market and we needed good at that time. Good news was the kids ate what was in the box though. (Adult paninis, burgers and breakfast were all reasonably priced and very good ingredients were used here)
Bonus for my son was when they got the snake out for the children to pet.

A pleasant surprise on a rainy Welsh day. Extensive playgrounds for children (wet on our visit but will enjoy next time). Well kept animals and clear displays.

Had a good day with my 2 boys. Last minute plan. Plenty to see and walking through with the butterflies flying around you is brilliant and boys loved it. Good day overall.

Wonderful. If you don't mind butterflies fluttering around your head you will love this place. Some beautiful colourful butterflies. Also a mini zoo with insects and snakes and reptiles. Outside, there are pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and donkeys plus more. Plenty of play areas for the kids . Onsite parking and disabled spaces right by the entrance. A good day out .

Very good value for money and good for a rainy day. Lots of animals and interesting areas for young people to explore. Some bits look a bit tired in terms of upkeep and decoration, but the price felt proportionate to this and staff were friendly. Excellent outdoor play area and indoor soft play too.

My 8 years old son absolutely loved visiting Pili Palas. He spent hours on outdoor wooden attractions. He enjoyed zip line and monkey bars very much. There is large free parking for customers. We had quiche with salad and kids lunch box at the cafe. While we were waiting for our food, it was nice that my son could go in the soft play which is joined to the café. There were lots of animals to see, and we particularly enjoyed the butterfly house. A very friendly staff encouraged my son to pet a small python, which certainly was a highlight of our visit. I would recommend this place for families with children.

Toddler had a wonderful time, lots to do. Perfect place for wet weather, soft play a bonus. Didn't really like the halloween stuff as it was pretty scary for a 2 year old...!

Fantastic day out especially on a rainy day for the family. Very full. All animal and birds looked after well. Accessibility was great as I am disabled and on a stick. A fairly cheap cafe available for food and picnic station outside in the play area. It also has a butterfly house which we loved as a family. It has a soft play area indoors and 2 brilliant play areas outside for the kids to play in. There was also a good range of creatures to view. It's just a bit scary if you have young kids who tend to run off or kids with Autism and problems with crowded places as there isn't much space when it's busy.

Definitely worth a visit, very good collection of animals for such a small zoo. Get warm in the tropical room when the weather is bad outside.

First time I've seen kookaburras, and they will sit on a post next to you or fly over heads. Decent playground.

Another great experience here on Anglesey. The place is well kept and it wasn't overly busy even though the car park was full. The kids absolutely loved the impressive adventure park at the end of the animal attraction. Great way to spend 2-3 hours.
