We booked this with our son for his 14th birthday in Anglesey. He loved every minute of it and is still on a high a week later. The gent who took us out was knowledgeable and gave us a fun , wet, and fast trip. It ticked all our son's boxes, me and my husband enjoyed it too if course.

We did the swellies adventure as it was something my dad has always wanted to try. Although we weren’t quite expecting the boat to go as fast as it did we all really enjoyed it with big beaming smiles all round. Our skipper Will was also very good giving us a good balance of thrills by demonstrating the boat’s performance but also giving us a lot of information about the history of the area which was interesting and thought provoking. Good work Will !

Great time on the water with our brilliant skipper Harry. Much more than a fast boat as a great history lesson thrown in as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend and do again on a next visit to Anglesey.

Excellent trip today. Will was a great guide- friendly and informative. Had a lot of fun skimming waves and watching the seals surrounded by a beautiful coastline.

Easy to find. Parking available on site. The staff is nice and helpful. You have wet suits availability to wear in the ride which saves you from getting wet. The skipper was entertaining and we had a great time about the ribride. There are some nice eating spots around the area once you finish the ride and wanna warm up

Excellent!! This was my second ride with these guys and I would happily do it again! Our skipper, Will, was really great. Will explains everything and makes sure everyone is comfortable and safe.

Arrival:

There isn't any dedicated parking, but there are plenty of car parks very close by. A lot of the free street parking is also fine but just lookout for the few that are 60 minutes only.

What to wear:

The weather was pretty decent on our trip. This was mid July but it was cooler than usual. Long sleeves are still highly recommended as the wind chill while going up to 40mph will cool you down. I was sat on the bench seat at the back and as I was at the edge I did get wet. Most other seats stay totally dry throughout.

The ride!

We had the 1hr30 ride which was a perfect length. We sailed out and had various stops to highlight historical features. The Skipper Will did some doughnuts in the water and checked how everyone felt about them. As a group we loved them and so we got more throughout the trip. We saw loads of seals and puffins as well as a lot of other birds and sites.

We saw other tours on slower boats and felt very smug zooming past them. There are long stretches of water to traverse and I can't imagine it being as fun on the slow boats! No doughnuts either!

I would recommend this for all ages

Really enjoyed our hour with George and his stories. Some thrilling twists and turns in the water with some donuts thrown in for good measure! Would recommend.

Amazing service and really pleasant staff, the ride was just magnificent! The weather on the ride was nice, but going back we faced strong wind with rain, which still was fun! But you definitely should take waterproof clothes or a raincoat while going. Will is cool😻😎 - he explained all the safety measures, made sure everyone was fine and happy, entertained, and told interesting stories along the way. 10000% worth going there - unforgettable emotions are guaranteed ✨

We went on the "Puffin Adventure" and had a great time. Puffinless but plenty of seals, cormorants and kittiwakes. Lucky with the weather as it wasn't raining but you need layers as it was surprisingly cold compared to pre-boarding. Recommended.

Went with friends from the uni and had an amazing time with Will who introduced us to many sights along the straits, checked in on us constantly to make sure we felt safe, and brought us to see lots of birds and seals (saw some puffins too)!

It was drizzling and cloudy but we had the best time ever thanks to Will’s skills with the boat. Best time ever!

10/10 would definitely return with friends/family in the future.

Just do it, it really is fantastic. George took us out and gave us a wonderful time, we were on the Puffin Island trip. Lucky enough to see the puffins and seals and a whole host of other wildlife, Beaumaris, Penmon, Garth pier, and The Great Orme in the distance. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I booked the Menai Adventure Ride for myself and two others. We were on the 14:10 one (high tide) we had a brilliant hour on the water and our Skipper Will was a fountain of knowledge for all the local landmarks. Highly recommend this company and will be back in the future to try the other packages. Thanks again Will!

We had a great time on the swellies with Ollie. Myself and two friends had the boat to ourselves. Ollie went through all the emergency and safety brief. He made sure our compulsory life jackets were securely fastened. We had an informative sail down to the Britannia bridge with Ollie pointing out the statue, the lions on the bridge and the large house call Plas newydd owned by the national Trust. There is a beautiful house in the middle of the swellies only accessible by boat. On the way back he pushed the throttle down and we enjoyed some twist and turns. A great 40 minutes. Well recommended.

These guys are amazing. From the booking to the ride - this has been such a pleasant experience. We had Trig who has been an absolute pleasure to have a ride with. We met two ladies in the receptions, they are amazing too. The ride is thrilling but you will feel safe. In a sunny day, the views are spectacular. We got to see hundreds of birds and seals. Highly recommended 👌

Went on the Puffin Island trip today……….blew our expectations out of the water.
We randomly had a purple ball/balloon appear through the rocks…….getting a seals interest.
Then we witnessed quite an impressive seal fight………one tried to share a rock for sunbathing, the was not for sharing.
Then on the way back we had a fly past of an A400.
Can we have a moment’s silence for skipper Will’s sunglasses which flew off his face, to swim with the seals.
Will was an amazing skipper.
Would highly recommend the trip.

Amazing experience riding on the RibRide. The skipper (Harry) was super knowledgeable and shared loads of facts about the local area as we sped up and down, throw in a couple of doughnuts and cornering and you have an incredible thrill ride too. It's like being back at school, just on one of them fun days when every lesson is a laugh!

We did the seals and puffins tour with Rib Ride and while we did not see a single puffin (they're out of season apparently!) we did see plenty of seals and get a brilliant ride around Puffin Island with our captain, George. He was super fun and cheerful the whole voyage and we was able to be both informative and interesting. Plus we did a tonne of fun stuff in the water, jumping through the waves and doughnuts and stuff.

Great fun! Trigger was informative, funny and great at doing donuts and figure of 8's. And I didn't get wet - great way to see the bridges and much more. Highly recommended.
