Great place to walk around, great for different walking abilities. Will go back when more flowers in bloom. Cafe is lovely too. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this place so much I went back the next week and took my brother. There are plants that I hadn't seen before but the highlight for me is the woodland walk. Some paths are steep so can be difficult for some people. Wonderful labour of love by a Shropshire farmer who has rescued this garden from the wild. Good tea room that serves light meals ideal for lunchtime. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous gardens, stunning hydrangeas. Lovely walking through the forested area down to the waterfall, a little steep so you need to wear proper shoes and be prepared for a climb but at the end is a very well stocked café.

This is a real hidden gem , brought to life by real hard work and a brilliant passion for revitalising gardens ,which had been neglected. You will not be disappointed, especially with the outstanding Cafe at the end .

Visited for the first time this April, what lovely find. Very well kept gardens, the staff are helpful and friendly.outside the walled garden the paths can be steep but this is clearly indicated in the pamphlet provided. The paths are colour coordinated with red being the steepest. (But not that steep).
Lovely cafe
Ample parking

A beautiful hidden garden with formal and wild areas, all very well maintained. Plenty of paths to explore with streams and waterfalls amongst the trees and plants.
There's a lovely tea rooms to enjoy a well earned rest after the mile and a half of pathways. Well worth a visit.

Please be aware the satnav takes you to a housing estate, access is via the coastal road. This is an amazing place, the gardens are beautiful, parts are very steep and there are no handrails, even if you aren't fit enough to walk down into the valley part, you still a lit and it's stunning. There's a really nice cafe too.

Quite impressive, different species of plant. But the Google map often misguide you in different location if you follow the postcode. It has tea house where you can have some snacks. It also has small waterfall.

Beautiful gardens, worth a visit if near.
Doesn't get to busy in the gardens.
Lot of uphill walking so need to be physically able.
Cafe was nice and had vegan options for food and cakes.
Staff friendly.

Had promised myself a trip to see the gardens, but never made the time until today, and what a great day to visit. Beautiful gardens, tranquil, calming and very well maintained. Meandered around for an hour or so before ending my visit in the tea shop!! Some lovely loooking cakes!!! Sat outside in the tea room courtyard with a lovely pot of tea soaking up the sun!!

This is a lovely garden, laid out in a, mostly, formal fashion. Bought by a farmer from Staffordshire about 30yrs ago it has been lovingly restored.
This was our third visit and it was as good as ever. The cafe/restaurant has been upgraded and does a very nice homemade cake and drinks.
At my age, toilet facilities come more sharply into focus. These are excellent.
The whole place is a credit to the owner and the staff.

What an amazing garden. I can thoroughly recommend the Head Gardener's talk and guided tour. I don't know how so few people can keep the garden looking this good. The paths and steps are in good order and the lower valley garden looks very natural yet really tidy.

This is a hidden gem accessed from Menai which has fabulous gardens with extremely well kept grounds. There is much variety in the planting and also the terrain. The gardens are set in a valley which has marked routes - there is an easy access path and a longer route with steps which takes in the valley. There are water features and viewing benches/platforms throughout, including some waterfalls at the bottom of the valley. The tea rooms had good food and a pleasant view across the gardens. Parking was free. We took about 2½ hours to go round but it would be possible to take more or less time. A great find.
