Stayed one night but will be back for more a very warm welcome from Jake was shown where everything was shown to our pitch loved the reception/pub . Really quiet site with loads of animals to see Dominic the donkey does like to. wake up early mind 🤣 . The only negative for us and not a negative is you can only burn their supplied wood no bigger I just don't get on with the pre-formed wood bricks won't stop us from coming back though

Me and a group of my friends managed to secure a super last minute space here on a Friday night. Rich and Jake were overwhelmingly friendly, hospitable, helpful and gave us a fantastic tour of their beautiful site. The facilities are immaculate, the site is unbelievably well kept and clean, the food and drink is spot on too. We cannot recommend this place more strongly; very reasonable prices, very friendly people, worth every penny!

Lovely site. Perfect for walking and fishing it’s that’s your bag. Owners are super friendly and there’s a nice bar overlooking the lake for a lovely cool pint after a day out. Loads of space and loos were clean and well looked after. We will return

Excellent service! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and they make excellent pizzas, the best I’ve ever tasted. This is definitely one of the best sites we’ve ever stayed at.

What a find. Beautiful scenery. Bar prices not too pricey and electric hook up is not expensive at all
Pizzas are well worth a try. Layout is brilliant. Caters for single travellers and groups so you are well away from each other.
Dish washer on site. Shower block was clean

3rd visit very friendly family including cocky Richard relaxing easy going atmosphere. You can tell who’s family or regulars they get proper glasses for their drinks! Awesome pizza by Jeff. Shower block needs a boot brush and outside mat top prevent so much mud and grass. Notice board in Shower block entrance would be great to advertise what’s on and pizza deals ? And a sign on the border would be a hit with kids and adults alike to have a foot in Wales and England would make a great #instagram hash tag?

We had a brilliant stay at this lovely, quiet family campsite. Friendly welcome, small bar and cafe on site with excellent pizzas. Facilities are small and basic but have everything you need including laundry facilities, fridge and freezer. Kids loved all of the campsite animsls, especially the cat and the turkey! Will definitely return 😊

The little hut had heating when we arrived a bit wet. Showers and toilets were warm and clean. Loved the farm animals. Caravan and tents also seemed welcome.

Very relaxing site. Owners extremely helpful, roomy pitches with grass well trimmed, all the necessities, without any hassle. Small shop that also sells pizza and beer. Next to a busy road so quite a bit of road noise during the day but not bad at night. Stayed Monday to Friday and came home feeling refreshed and chilled. Great for bird watchers, with a fair few domestic fowl wandering around site, including a very sociable turkey.

Spent a night there. Definitely will come back. Still things to do like walk trails and eat pizza, that they do on the site.
Jake was really nice and explained very well where things are located and how it work. Thank you!

Lovely campsite! Myself & 3 friends stayed with the intention of going into the local town for food & drinks but with the friendly staff, beer/cider on tap along with homemade pizzas we stayed on the site. Hot shower facilities & a family friendly atmosphere with farm animals close by but behind fences along with the fishing lakes for the keen fisher ticks the box for a lot of different parties. Will stay again thank you!

Mother in law and her chap stay here regularly and decided to come down for few hours to tire the kids out and can say we wasn't disappointed , all the facilities you need on site , staff extremely friendly and helpful , being able to have a lake where you can take your kids fishing ( and hire the equipment too if you don't have any ) is a bonus. Kids loved it next time we will be booking to stay for long weekend .

Calm and peaceful campsite with walks directly off site. The site has some farm animals, small play area, clean showers and toilets. Plenty of places to visit locally and masses of walks to do in the local area.

Only negative (which cant be helped)- we went in the winter and the weather was rainy and windy, which meant to site was 'bogged down' and very muddy.

Would recommend!

Outstanding site, great staff and amenities available. In a beautiful area, the site is cut up by hedges which makes it feel even more private.
Lovely local walks nearby. With large fishing ponds and seating both in and out of the shade, there's a nice social area to rest in with friendly animals running around. (Other people's dogs will be on leads).

Firepits and wood available to hire for a tenner for your stay.

Surprisingly excellent food is available from the onsite cafe, including proper Italian pizzas with high quality toppings - all at a good price. The cafe also serves alcohol.

Toilets and showers are decent and plentiful enough that neither my partner nor I ever had to wait. Good hot water for showering and at a washing-up station too.

Strongly recommend!

Fabulous experience for all our family. The staff were very accommodating and had no hesitation in going the extra mile to insure our stay was as pleasurable and memorable . The site itself is very clean and managed to a high standard. Toilets and showers nice and clean . Lovely walks in the woods nearby with deer and other wildlife to view. Great fishing on site with a well managed lake . A must try has to be the burgers out of the shop cooked on the fire pits provided . By far the best I have ever tasted highly recommended .The kids had a great time and we will be sure to return.

Been here several times now. It's a lovely laid back site with clean shower and toilet facilities..and an outside washing up area with hot water

3 fishing pools. 1 of them is full of Rudd and it's great for the kids and there are a couple of rods they can use. The other 2 are for fly fishing and you can hire the rods, for beginners you can have a lesson, there is also a coarse fishing lake available off site.

Fire pits are available to hire and they are delivered to your tent by a member of the friendly staff.

The small cafe is open for breakfast and evening meals - you can pre order your food and get it delivered to your pitch if you want. It is also licensed. Coffee and cold drinks are available all day.( Alcohol available during normal licensing hours) They sometimes have locally homemade pickled onions available which are some of the best I have tasted.
The boar burgers are sublime and the homemade scotch eggs are pretty good too.

There are some lovely walks through the forest which is just behind the site.

Lovely old oak trees in the main field.

Small play area for little ones

Perfect site for visiting local attractions like Clearwell caves, Go Ape, Sculpture trail to name a few are within a 15 to 20 minute drive.

Cannot recommend it highly enough, we went as a couple the first time and then took our teenager with us and she loved it too.
