Lovely kept park ,. Good for exercise, dog yourself. Close to town , shops.. parking for car's free whilst gates are unlocked.

Lovely park, great place for a parkrun

This park is the best place in Monmouth for a picnic. I decided to honour its name by only bringing chips and ham to the picnic blanket. My friends, who are staunch vegans, were far from impressed. Obviously, the chips went down well (even though I kept it to myself that they were deep fried in the best beef dripping) but the ham was untouched. I ate a lot of ham that day but it was some of the finest cuts which, needless to say, has made me rate this park so favourably. Regardless, this park can be enjoyed by herbivores and carnivores alike.

Lovely well maintained area for walking or just sitting and watching the world go by at any time of year.

Great place and the kids loved their time there. Loads of space for them to run around, the park is huge and used for rugby matches at the weekend. There is a playground for the kids to play and run around.

Visited on frosty Saturday morning, for parkrun

Played bowls whilst cricket game on next field all along side of river...lovely club house and friendly atmosphere

We visited this place as part of the bee festival.Brilliant day out loads of stalls selling bee produce.. honey,wax,mead etc.free to enter and full of people very knowledgeable in bee keeping.

What a field, great views and also has football goal and rugby posts. Also has a great park and benches throughout the middle of the field

good sunny day to watch splendid game of cricket...creigiau winning..against .... monmouth ...splendid effort by roger bassett jones scoring an admirable 16 runs ........p.s somewhat biased he s my brother ho ho......

Nice open space plenty of pitches only problem is parking.

Nice large local park with Rugby and football goals.
