Despite not booking, they managed to squeeze us in a table of 6 on a Saturday night.

A huge menu with masses of choice, but nicely laid out and with little explainers on some of the lesser known dishes.

The wait for food was decent and the food itself excellent. We had a large variety of dishes between us and everyone was happy with what they ordered.

The only downside is that it took quite a long time to get the bill when we had clearly finished and we’re ready to leave.
Otherwise the staff we attentive on drinks and extras and the atmosphere was nice.
Despite being a big place there’s plenty of small nooks and half rooms to keep it cosy.

Everyone enjoyed the food and service. Fresh fluffy naans and a perfect dhansak. Good portion sizes. Bit pushy on the starters and side dishes - we know they exist!!! Drinks choices were a bit limited.

What a lovely Indian restaurant/ takeaway. Booked a table when we arrived we was taken straight to our table, staff was friendly and helpful smartly dressed as you would expect and food was great one jf the best I have had in a long time would definitely recommend and we will go back.

Visited here with my wife, despite having a few in, the service is quick and efficient. Food is excellent and the vindaloo extra spicy delicious. We will definitely recommend and return.

The manners of the guy that served me was just lovely . In these times it’s rare .
The food was fresh , clean feeling , not stodgy . Absolutely delicious.
Even the “neon “ mint sauce . I couldn’t find the yoghurt / raita though which would’ve been a perfect accompaniment.

Ours kids were a bit of a pain but they were so helpful. We decided to leave half way and they were amazing. I don't like Indian food that much and I loved everything I ordered!

We looked online for this restaurant and having chatted with some people locally knew that it was going to be good. Really excellent service and superb food, vegetarian and gluten free too! The chef is great and the tastes were just out of this world as can only be experienced by eating here yourself. Worth a visit and allow the chef or the owner to recommend a dish for you. We will be back again. 5 STARS from us both.

Fantastic Indian food. The plain naan is the best I've ever had. Not a cheap night, but well worth it for a treat. Plenty of meat, good lager, great menu, excellent staff. I used to use another Indian restaurant across town (we are spoilt in Monmouth) but not any more. As good as any curry house I've ever eaten in.

Excellent evening out at Jewel Balti. Food was amazing and service was second to none. We were a large group and they handled us brilliantly. Will definitely go again and will be recommending to friends and family.

On holiday in Monmouth at the moment, went there last night for a meal, excellent food, lovely friendly staff, clean, comfortable and relaxing evening, highly recommended, we are going back again Friday evening, best in the area

Some of the best curries I’ve had- and I’ve lived in east London, a stones throw from brick lane. Perfectly cooked.
Staff were great and tables spaced far apart.
So good we cancelled our reservation for the following day and came back for a second round.

Will revisit when in the area.

Excellent restaurant , staff are very friendly and the premises runs like a well oiled machine - Vegetarian food is very good. Can get busy. Highly recommended A++

This is a lovely Indian restaurant in Monmouth. Been here a few times and it's never disappointed.i would recommend this place if you like a nice Indian meal.

The good is consistently excellent, the welcome consistently friendly and the portions consistently generous. We like the distinctive spicing which is tasty and doesn't rely upon pure chilli heat. Drinks are priced fairly and this is a very reliable restaurant.

If you're looking for a really tasty curry. Look no further. I go on holiday in this area and every year I've had a takeaway from here. It's never let me down. Always tasty and flavours are spot on. Sauces are different and the bombay potatoes are to die for. Meat rogan was lovely and the chicken dansak yummy. Had it with a vegetable biriyani and veg curry between 3 of us and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. 😋

Had a sit down meal here last night, wow. The beef dishes are absolutely fantastic. All fresh ingredients. I've always used the other Indian takeaways up the other end of town. I tried here last night and I was kicking myself that I didnt try here sooner, fantastic meal. See you again Saturday
