This place is amazing!
You must buy tickets in March, follow their instagram for a release date. They get booked quickly, I was in the queue for hours.
It’s worth it! The tickets are expensive. Go during the school day if you can, less people & cheaper. Parking is available & free. Well organised. You enter, kids get special passports. Loads of different activities. There’s a village with ice skating & food, you get to eat here but you don’t have much time to see shops & to make the best of it, as you get 1.5 hour for the village, after you have done the activities. Food is fairly expensive but edible. Once you leave the village, you get to see Santa - who’s amazing, the best Santa yet. He hands over a toy - husky, but it changes. You then go through the shop & at the end you are given a special Xmas gift = soft toy rabbit to put secretly under the Xmas tree. It’s magical, kids couldn’t believe it on Christmas Day. Lovely experience. Definitely worth the money. My kids were 7&11, I would have preferred 6&10 but I wouldn’t bring 2/3 year olds, it’s too much walking & they get fed up/knackered. Personally I think older kids enjoy it more. Parents have loved it too.
It does get muddy, bring wellies if wet & leave clean shoes in the car.
Enjoy!

We had a lovely visit, the actors make the experience amazing. The paths were a bit muddy but we went prepared so it didn’t affect the day. Our boys loved it, they especially enjoyed seeing Santa as he chatted about things in their lives (from the info we provided). The shop was a bit pricey considering how expensive it is to go but where isn’t. It was a very magical 4 hours!

We went on Superstar day and it was the best day! The Elves were so good with our little folk and really made the experience special. We really hope to return again.
The work and attention to detail that went into the whole place and the daily events is incredible. Magical memories we will treasure forever.

Excellent day out. We went in the evening and it was magic with all the lights on. The elves are brilliant and the most joyfully creatures you will ever meet. Expensive to get there and expensive when you are there but in my opinion woth it. Our younfest is 7 and maybe next year he will be too old for it but this year he loved it. And the Santa at the end is brilliant! Definitely the real one 😉

There is no more magical place to take your child/children to visit Father Christmas. It is definitely the DisneyLand of Father Christmas experiences, there is truly nothing like it. Absolutely incredible for both Child and Adult. I cannot recommend this place enough, saying they go the extra mile is an understatement. I cannot wait to visit again later this year with my son. Thank you Lapland UK.

A five star experience with attention needed in places

We didn't know what to expect really, our friends all had great experiences, but we didn't really know how muddy it would be.

Well turns out that we didn't need to worry about the mud. Everything was incredibly well stage managed and flowed incredibly well. At no time did we feel crammed or rushed, and everything was under cover.

Remarkable really when you realise that before and after there is no trace of the place and it's just a wonder ful forest. The buildings and stages are all amazing and no attention has been spared in packing the place with furniture and props

This experience is a winner and I hope it inspires others on how to do it properly and to make it as magical and enchanting as this.

It is expensive, but then I've never ever had an experience as complete as this. It's well worth it and I hope it gets more amazing every year.

Some attention to muddy paths is needed. On the whole they were covered well in bark chippings, but there were gaps. The food is average but not great. The pizza we had was not good.

Overall 5 stars, but room for tweaks.

I am 24 hours post visit, and can genuinely say hand on heart that I have Lapland UK blues. This was by far the most immersive, magical and spectacular Christmas experience I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. The actors are incredibly attentive, caring and you can tell all have a wonderful culture instilled into them by the owners and directors of this experience. From toy making to ginger bread decorating, ice skating, posting your unique letter to Santa and meeting the one and only himself your kids will be forever grateful for taking you to Lapland UK and I advise to have your camera ready, as you won’t want to miss a single shot! 🎅🏼

An excellent, high quality immersive experience!
It felt like Disney had come to the uk. I don’t use these words lightly.
The costumes, staff, sets, scripts, lighting, actors were well written and produced and the Packs sent in advance were refreshingly detailed and high quality. The girls loved collecting the stamps and, because of the books which they poured over , already felt like knew the characters . So as the story unfolded throughout the evening they connected even better.
There were so many ways in which the management team could have eroded the experience including; charging for more of the otherwise included events (ie; ice skating) , using less actors in favour of screens/videos and using plastic in place of wood.
But the owners decided to keep the experience high quality and I’m so delighted to not see a single piece of plastic, LED screen, coin slot operated machine, or overt speaker system in the four hours we were there. Even the photos pretty reasonably priced. I paid nearly that much for my primary school kids photos.
For those who criticise the event as a series of acted set-pieces, I’ve no idea what you expected (each show to be ad-lib’Ed?) . What matters is that the actors were convincing(the effects were subtle and high quality) to my girls and were sincere, Particularly Sage and Wish (during the Tree sequence).
Even in the village there were so many actors mingling around and they were all engaging and interested in interacting. Not a surly reluctant (cheaper) teenager in sight.
Yes it’s expensive (my wife still won’t tell me; it’s better that way, trust me) but we filled four hours of a magical evening.
This really is how it should be done.
In terms of the Big Guy experience, this was lovely and the actor spent between 10-15 mins taking unhurried time to talk to the girls and slowly release the Secrets. The photos were great and again, unhurried. At one point Santa asked the next group to keep it down, and then proceeded to chat for five more mins. Again, this gave the impression, rightly, that he felt that this was His Time, and he is The Boss, and by extension, your children matter (to him). As a result the long queue is explained and justified.
Maybe I’m reading too much into a Santa experience but well done LapLand. Do not dilute your formula.
Please don’t take the minor points below as tarnishing the overall experience but… the queue at the end was about an hour long so the ticketing could have made this clearer that “your queue starts at X o’clock” as we possibly would have not spent so long in the village. so allow time for this everyone . Or, like at Thorpe park; “you are 40 mins away from FC” etc.
Providing the secrets to Santa at the desk at the end could have been done over email, this was an avoidable delay.
We visited on Friday 1st December. I recommend visiting from 4pm onwards as it’s better in the dark I think.
Allow 4 hours in total. Use what three words to make a note of your car location.

Been wanting to visit for years and 2023 was our year to travel to this magical place with our 10 year old daughter and 2.5 year old son.

What can I say - this place is worth EVERY penny that you pay. For the kids and the adults it's just the most magical attraction & absolutely gets you into the Christmas Spirit!

Don't want to go into much detail as I can ruin it for all but if you are hesitant because of the price - don't be. Seeing the kids faces through the whole 4.5 hours we were there was priceless.

Food and drink are not overpriced at all! The hot chocolates & Mulled wine is to die for!

Thank you Lapland UK for keeping the magic alive!

📍LaplandUK

WOW, what a magnificent day.
Magical and inspiring for all the “small folk”.

A mystical world of storytelling that fuses the spectacle of a filmset with the performance of theatre, all experienced within the intimacy of our own family.

Fantastic time and seeing my youngest daughters excitement made it even more enjoyable.

Yes, it’s expensive but it’s worth every penny.
From start to finish it was everything we hoped it would be and more!

Thank you 📍LaplandUK.

Excellent day put for the whole family and a truly magical experience.Food and drink is expensive as usual at events but pretty decent. Its muddy there so don't wear white trainers as some did and bet they regret it now 😂.Also be aware of playing with the fake snow as it gets everywhere in your house if bought back.

Was great. My 5 year old loved every bit of it. Car parking at the beginning was a nightmare, but other than that it was great.

We had the most wonderful time at Lapland UK with our children aged 7-4. It is a completely immersive experience from the moment you begin. Every element of the experience ran like a well oiled machine and nothing was too much to ask. Father Christmas was so amazing he may as well have been the actual FC and we got plenty of time to chat with him and for my daughter to show him what she’d learned in ballet 🥰🤣 My one and only “complaint” and really I’m just being picky was that it was disappointing to see that the jelly sweets that went with the gingerbread man making kit weren’t vegan - in this day and age I really feel this should be a given to make it inclusive for all! Cannot wait for my children to find their special gift from Santa under the tree on Christmas morning! You guys made the magic real for the whole family! The BEST day out 🤩

We loved it! Yes, it’s expensive but it really is your call on whether or not it’s affordable for your family and circumstances. It was our first time visiting and we found it to be an entirely enchanting experience that everyone from grandparents to children thoroughly enjoyed. I was a little worried that my 10 and 8 year old nieces would perhaps be a little too old for the experience but I couldn’t have been more wrong… they were transported to a magical, Christmas wonderland that they could not stop talking about afterwards.
Our family of 8 all found it to be very well organised and it did not feel crowded at any point - this was due to the great organisation from all of the team. All of the staff working there (the elves) were brilliant and stayed in character at all times. We were blown away by the intricacies of the decor and little touches that made it such a special experience.
Father Christmas was also excellent and our girls loved the fact that that he knew so much about them… in fact, they were amazed.
A few more food options would have been nice in the Elf Village but not a massive issue.
All in all, it’s a wonderful day of festive fun for all of the family and certainly one that my family will always remember- thank you Lapland UK!

Wow! The most magical experience for my children and my family. The attention to detail was astounding! They have thought of everything!! Not a single corner cut! We will treasure these magical memories forever!
So grateful to have been able to visit.
I actually feel that the experience is good value…all the actors, the setting, the gifts for the children. The food to buy was fairly priced and excellent quality.

Difficult to put into words how amazing this experience is. The attention to detail is exceptional, the sets, costumes, characters, lighting, you can’t fault it. My daughter had a fantastic time and seeing her excitement made it even more enjoyable.

The best place to take kids for Christmas to see Father Christmas and enjoy a whole day of activities. We went for the first time and it was magical. Half of the experience consist of played interactive shows for the kids and second half you get to spend 1.5h in the Christmas village with shops and ice skating ring. Food at the village is surprisingly good for a fast food type with tasty pizza, burgers and hot dogs. At the end you're taken to see Father Christmas. We will be back next year! :)

It's the most magical place. Even I got caught up in all the magic!
Attention to detail is incredible. Every single team member including car parking attendees are so polite, helpful and rescue me from my dad's silly comments like "is the snow real" from running my 8 year olds beliefs!
