They have a big back garden and you can walk along the old wall for a little bit. We managed to get in 1 hour before closing and in the off season, which allowed us to tour the premises alone.
You get to see the estate, the gardens, the wall and the bell tower, and the pass lasts you a whole year, so I'd say it's worth it.

What an amazing historical building. Recently renovated and reopened in March 2024. This is a must when visiting Warwick. Don't forget to visit the Chapel and play the beautiful historical music.

A wonderful time machine of a historic building, recently refurbished with great displays and resources. This is a hidden Warwick gem often missed as the castle obviously dominates the area. Do chat to the residents who man the walls so to speak, we did over 2 days and it was illuminating. Such an interesting building, take time to sit in the gardens and transport yourself back in time. Topped off by a wonderful cafe open to non visitors as well, a different menu and reasonably priced. All the staff we encountered were top notch and super friendly not forgetting the gardener. A 2nd visit is on the cards hopefully.

Visited the newly modernised Lord Leicester Hospital with a friend yesterday. We wanted to see the changes made as we’d previously enjoyed a visit. The work done has made the visit even more interesting as there is an information room with chronological history and a video. We also got to visit the Master’s House and the lovely sunny gardens.
The accessibility is much improved for wheelchair users etc, and they now have a larger tea room/cafe in the Great Hall, where we enjoyed really delicious warm scones and hot drinks, and excellent friendly waitress service.

A fabulous afternoon spent at the Lord Leycester! So much more than we expected and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the buildings and grounds! And the connection to Doctor Who and Shakespeare and Hathaway was an added bonus as fans of the shows!!! Will certainly come back and sample the fayre in the restaurant too!

Stunning Tudor property with it's origins just post conquest. Victorian facing on the masters house in the courtyard but other renovations very much in sympathy with the original building. Beautiful timber work and pretty gardens.

First trip to see anything touristy post lock down. Was very quiet and peaceful, a mix of history and culture for the area. Lovely displays, informative and well placed. Easy to navigate around and a good route during COVID times. Would highly recommend doing this in the morning, have breakfast in the cafe at 10am and then do the tour.

Had a lovely visit here recently over the weekend. There is so much to see on a walk around here, from the actual hospital itself to the chapel and the stunning gardens. We even got to see the very talented musical duo Pease Pottage perform live.

We really enjoyed our visit to the hospital. It is a really special historical site, and also has wonderful gardens. The presentation is simple, with some historical information on cards. The Brethren who live there are maintain it are very friendly and entertaining. A great treasure in Warwick.

Quant little place, complete opposite of the severely commercialised Warwick Castle. Lovely old boys at the entrance, and friendly staff throughout. Lovely and well priced food in the Brethren’s Kitchen.

Renovation of this wonderful medieval building is a great improvement for visitors and- I'm sure for those that live there.
Excellent food served in the banquet hall.
I've heard it's classed as the most important medieval building in Europe!

Lovely place for little half day out or an afternoon. Staff were very friendly and you can stroll round the place at your own pace. There's also toilets, a cafe and a little shop.
