What an amazing stay! We’ve just come back from our first time in the Cotswolds. I’d highly recommend coming to Chipping Campden and staying at the Cotswolds hotel and spa! We were throughly looked after by all the staff. The rooms were spacious, gardens were well kept and the Bistro was to die for!! It was honestly one of the best meals we’ve had for a very long time. I can’t wait to come back!! Thank you all 😌

We had such a lovely stay here. The staff are super accommodating, the rooms were very comfortable with excellent views, the food was excellent. Could not fault this hotel.

Really lovely boutique hotel with very helpful staff. The Spa is cosy, but never overcrowded. You must make sure you have booked your 2hr slot. I had a hot stone massage and a collagen facial and both were superb. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty.

Beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Spa was lovely but swimming pool is very small. The breakfast was ok. Normally I would put 4 stars but due to our circumstances we had to skip breakfast and check out early, 6pm, and the gentleman in the reception was so nice... He made sure we got our tea and helped us with our luggage! I think it was his new job but he was the kindest person ever. Shame I didn't take his name. Hence the 5 stars.

We went for afternoon tea and it was delicious. One of the best teas any if us had ever had. Super fresh, tasty and plenty. Lovely host to start with and young man waiter was very helpful it seemed a bit short on staff and they were busy so some waiting time and nobody checked on us once tea came. I'd definitely recommend, return and am looking into the spa now!

I visited Oxford for the day and decided to stay at this hotel because it offered significantly better value for money than the other hotels in the city. It was only a short drive away, and the setting in the beautiful Cotswolds area was stunning.

The rooms are set up as mini apartments on three levels, each with a balcony. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, with a huge bed, a couch lounge area, and a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, with the exception of a slightly small TV on the opposite side of the room from the bed.

The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and they gave us our keys right away when we arrived. Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely perfect. Service/ staff were amazing! We stayed in a cottage suite with a Jacuzzi and everything was just perfect! Spacious, well equipped and clean. Only feedback would be some kindling wood for the log burner but we didn’t need to use it anyway as the heating was gorgeous! Thanks for an amazing stay we will definitely visit again!

We had a lovely relaxing session at the spa, the treatment was amazing and all the staff were super professional and polite the whole time. All the facilities were clean and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout. Then we went to the main hotel for an afternoon tea, again all the staff were pleasant and good at their jobs, we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and will return again.

Well run hotel with well kept garden, large rooms and an airy restaurant. The car park is at the back (noticed it had a Tesla charger) on appropriately named Back Ends by the Spa which we didn’t have time to use (and you need to book a time). The room (#1) was large and on two levels and though the bathroom had a bath/shower rather than a shower enclosure was very pleasant overall with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with gluten free options and you can state any allergens on a form which you fill in your choices and time. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a bar though a few other local pubs to choose from (Eight Bells served good beer and the menu looked nice and the Volunteer at the other end of town was more sporty but with an excellent curry house next door). We were moved from the Noel Arms due to refurbishment but think we did well out of this. Overall an excellent place to stay, close to some Cotswolds view points.

Had a spa day here and overnight stay after our wedding day. Perfect to unwind, spa facilities as part of the trip. The hotel is right in the centre of the Chipping Camden which is lovely, great gardens and outdoor space, breakfast was amazing and the spa was small but has everything you need. Rooms full of character and rather large, but has the Cotswolds feel. Carpark situated out the back of the hotel.

We stayed for a weekend to explore the area while also having a couple of spa treatments. The hotel room was wonderful; spacious, oozing character and very well appointed. The restaurant has a varied menu with something for everyone and the dishes were of high quality. The spa is small with numbers limited by capacity (8 or 10) so any group bookings tend to fill it. Massages are variable depending who you get on the day. One was great, the other not so good.
Parking is at the far end of the hotel gardens, so a long way to carry bags, and fills quickly, but there is additional parking at no cost on the street that runs behind the hotel.
Being quite central, Chipping Camden is an excellent base to then explore places such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on the-Water and Broadway.

Already missing our stay!!! Everything about it was perfect. The room had exactly what we needed, the breakfast was lovely, and Chipping Campden was the most charming location. I definitely recommend booking a service at the spa, I did the 30 minute facial and really enjoyed it. In addition, don’t forget to dine at The Fig❤

We had the absolute best wedding day at Cotswold House Hotel. Mandy and the team did everything they could to ensure the whole day ran smoothly, they went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for more. The setting itself is stunning and you honestly couldnt find better in the Cotswolds, but what really sets them appart is the attention to detail and generosity of spirit from all the staff. Everything from the incredible food, to their help with decorating and packing up and even making sure we didn't accidently see eachother before the ceremony. This venue really has it right! We were treated like King and Queen throughout our stay and really what more could you ask for your wedding? Thank you so much to Mandy and all the team, we will never forget how well you looked after us and all our guests.

We booked a per Christmas break for a Special Birthday treat with our little dog at the Noel Hotel. I was very disappointed with the room we were allocated, especially the bathroom, when the hotel was only a third full. I asked to see the manager, but was told it was his day off! The receptionist did call a senior member of staff from The Cotswold House hotel, their sister hotel opposite. Lucy listened to my complaint & said she would see what she could do. She changed our hotel for the Cotswold House, upgrading us to a junior suite. She went out of her way to make our stay as memorable as possible. Our room was amazing, such luxury & a real treat. The evening meal & breakfast was delicious served by excellent & attentive staff, they even lit the fire for us this morning. Thank you again Lucy for your excellent & professional service.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of chipping Camden, with the best service. Huge shout out to Alice who made sure there was extra pillows for me after me staying not long after a fairly big stomach operation. She couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Huge credit to the hotel. Also the breakfast was unbelievable. See you soon Alice

We have had a 3 night stay. Lovely room very spacious and very comfortable bed. The spa is exceptional made so by the staff who are very welcoming and really good at their jobs I had the most amazing facial and massage 100% better than Champneys. Food was excellent but the staff made our visit very special and memorable. Would definitely go again. The Hilders.
