Hafod Cae Maen (Portmeirion Villa for Hire)

Our parents visited a few years ago during COVID, and thought it would be perfect to revisit for a family holiday. It's exactly as pictured. Absolutely stunning views, great locations, lovely lay out in the house.
When we visited there was a small wasps nest in the Wendy House which we contacted the owners about and they promptly and properly removed it.
Dogs allowed, we brought a cage for ours for the evenings. At home we don't allow dogs upstairs so it was easy to keep him downstairs but worth bringing a dog crate just in case because there's no stair gate.
So many beautiful places to visit close by.

Honestly out of every hotel and houses ive stayed at this is by far the best place i have stayed as well as my family. The views and surroundings are absolutely breath taking especially in the morning. The last night we stayed we managed to do some stargazing and omg it was just amazing. The house itself has a library room which my grandparents absolutely loved and couldn't stay out of. We all played the piano and sat around the dinner table! This house really brought the family together and it was amazing! we will definitely 100% be coming back next year! thank you paul and claire for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Our 3 night stay was fantastic. Sitting under the veranda into the night taking in the wonderful view - even when it was raining, it felt great. Plenty of rooms to find your own space. Big bedrooms. Marvellous house and location.

Hafod Cae Maen was wonderful! The setting was incredible, with breathtaking views over the estuary - very secluded, but within easy walking distance of Portmeirion village, the beach, the Ffestiniog Railway and Porthmadog (plenty of shops). We didn't take a car, but wanted a proper 'retreat', so this was just perfect. The house itself was spacious, but also so cosy and wellI decorated. Plus the communication with Paul was great - lots of recommendations and local knowledge. We would highly recommend!

Back again for another wonderful visit with my sister, this time we introduced two of our friends to this magic house. We had a very enjoyable weeks stay. The welcome pack and flower's was a very lovely thought. We shall return again to this lovely house. Thank you Paul and Claire.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house and gardens are beautiful and in a stunning location. We were greeted with a lovely hamper of local produce and we used the house as a base for many lovely days out. What a shame we had to cut the week short due to personal circumstances.

We had a wonderful stay here, the house is beautiful and like home from home and the location is simply stunning, I would highly recommend for a relaxing break.
