We stayed in our campervan in the motorhome area. Beautiful camp. Includes entry to the village including use of the pool and evenings when closed to public in the price. New site, beautiful surroundings, very clean, if you want to go to the train station they will take you if you want to leave your van there. Excellent clean facilities. Loved it - will certainly be back again

The Portmeirion hotel is THE best place to really enjoy your stay in the Village. What can I say about this hotel? The staff are friendly, the rooms with a view are great, and the breakfast-inclusive offer is well worth it. I also dined there, and the least I can say is that I really enjoyed myself. The food is excellent and gourmet. The Welsh lamb is delicious. I can only recommend that you also take the 5 O'Clock Tea option, which is fabulous. Please note that you need to book everything in advance, by e-mail, but don't worry, it works very well. And if, like me, you arrive at Minffordd by train, the hotel will send someone to pick you up with your luggage.
The value for money is excellent, so don't hesitate.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean, warm and bright. A mixture of old and new, but that's what it should be. Main hotel area has lots of character.
The best part was the evening meal. Simply outstanding. One of the best meals I have ever had. Thank you.

A beautiful location and pleasant rooms. We had some slight difficulties in locating our wedding party at first, but that's perhaps part of the experience. Staff were invariably pleasant and helpful; the electric buggies that transport guests around the complex were a nice touch, particularly in the rain! Well worth a return visit one day.

Gifted a afternoon tea as a present, very nice experience, staff was very welcoming and friendly, very generous selection, home made sausage rolls we’re absolutely delightful, would definitely recommend a visit for afternoon tea 👍

The weather was terrible due to Storm Henck, but we were cosy, warm, and well catered for in the hotel. I love the cosy rooms, the real fire in the grate and the Christmas decorations looked wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and the staff so helpful. My only criticisms were a long wait for food though the staff apologised, and our room was too hot. However the food was superb. We had a wonderful one night break.

Absolutely fantastic 3-day break. Stayed in The Watch House. The views are incredible. If you are in North Wales with some free time, it's more than worh a visit.

Stunningly beautiful location! We stayed in Bridge House right in the heart of the village, staff were all excellent and the restaurants and meals were superb. Well worth a visit but plan to spend a day, better still stay the night as we did and wake up in little Italy on the Welsh coast.

Just back from a fantastic couple of days at Portmeirion. A touch of Italy in Wales. It was so relaxing around the pool. The sunbeds were extremely comfortable. Walking round the village was majestic. The building are fantastic and colourful. It is superb walking around at night when it is lit up.
The restaurant is lovely and the food is superb, if a little pricey. Breakfasts are excellent and sets you up for the day.
All in all a special place to stay.
We stayed in the village in a suite above a shop. Luxurious with 2 vathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a lounge, 3 televisions and a kitchenette. The suite was extremely clean on arrival and kept amazingly clean during our stay.
Our arrival and departure was brilliantly dealt with by reception, transporting us and our bags to the accommodation supreme ease.
Portmeirion village is so special and definitely a place to visit and stay in.

Absolutely fabulous hotel situated in Portmerion village alongside the estuary. Very tranquil when the village closes. The food in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was mouthwateringly amazing.
I had the lamb to start followed by the beef and the souffle. It was faultless.
The staff were very helpful especially the porters who drive the buggies to and from the car park. (This shuttle service was great!) The restaurant staff were a bit frosty at times. The reception staff were all lovely and friendly and in hand to help.
Our room was perfect with a view over the estuary with some beautiful sunrises! It was very clean and well equipped. The bed was so comfy! The shower was powerful and there was complimentary shower gels etc.
It really was a magical stay from beginning to end. I highly recommend a stay here!

Had one of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had. Delicious sandwiches and scones. Lovely service and an amazing view. Also got bonus sausage rolls and cheese tarts. Will definitely be coming back

We have mainly had breakfast in the Hotel Portmeirion, going up to the Castle for evening meals. The breakfast options, were extensive & excellent. Both freshly cooked dishes & self-service selections were of the highest quality.

Visited as part of our Welsh road trip. We didn't visit because of the history of the Prisoner being filmed there in the 60's as we haven't watched it, we mearly went off its beauty that we had seen in pictures. We had booked an afternoon tea at the Portmeirion Hotel and that was part of the entrance fee upon entering at the main gate. This tiny part of coastal Wales is truly beautiful and gives to more of a feel of the Rivera if I'm honest. Upon the gates opening and everyone piling into the village it all felt hurried but then people meandered in their own direction and then it felt more relaxed. Our afternoon tea was well presented and quality ingredients made for a sumptious treat. A lovely place to visit on a summers day but it can get very windy in certain places. A picture perfect place to visit with it's beautiful colours

We stayed towards the end of 2022 and had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back. Extremely friendly staff, the room was very comfortable and had lots of space. The scenery is stunning and Portmeirion town is so lovely and interesting it's great to be able to walk round it once everyone else has left for the day. We had breakfast included and it was delicious and a good size. Would highly recommend staying here if you're planning a visit, even if it's only for 1 night.

The shops, sites, restaurants are amazing and staying in the village is an experience not to be missed. Once the village closes for the evening, the town is all yours to explore. A multitude of walks and sites, and a fantastic restaurant in the hotel that boast exceptional service in and around the hotel lounge and lobby for drinks.

We had a large group for afternoon tea for a hen do, which was fabulous. The food was wonderful: delicious chocolate bombs, sandwiches, savoury sausage roll slice, rhubarb creations and scones. The layered carrot cake was rather sweet but many others really enjoyed it. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. And the view was lovely, even on a grey and misty day. Even the trip up and down the hill was fun in the buggies with hilarious drivers. Such a fabulous outing and definitely keen to go back!

A fabulous overnight stay in a quirky village room, spotless, good amenities in the room and great location, courtesy transport to take you to and from car park or to castell ( residents only ..not day visitors) .Stayed in Priors Lodging ( recommended)
All staff pleasant and professional. Not the cheapest getaway but you get what you pay for... Excellent !

An absolutely wonderful location to explore the village. Very clean and spacious with uninterrupted views. The location is very picturesque with "Italian style" architecture. I travelled here to explore the set of "the prisoner" but found myself walking on the beach and exploring the local woodlands. My only advice is to start your day early, it becomes very busy after midmorning. A fabulous hotel with spectacular surroundings.

Lovely to return to the magical place where we honeymooned 50 years ago. Many changes, but still a wonderful fantasy village. Superb food in the main hotel restaurant.

We have been to the hotel on many occasions. The rooms we stay in are the village rooms. This year we have stayed in the same room as a previous year. The first time ever. The room had been modernized when we first stayed in the room, several years later the condition of the room is still excellent, with some of the furnishing having changed. The rooms are warm and inviting.

This room has a kitchen with a fridge, bathroom with an excellent walk in shower.

The evening meals in the hotel are special. They are beautifully presented. Five years later the meals are still fabulous, high end dining. Now another few years and the meals are still to the same high standard. The restaurant windows have all been replaced this year, (2023)

Breakfasts are large. Choices of Welsh breakfast, various fish and eggs.

I love walking around the woods, the village and taking photographs of the area. The time we visit is out of season, so the village is always quiet, the best time to go.

There is a new tree walk since we last visited. Get a booklet from the main entry as this will tell you about each tree species.

Yes they keep their standards high over all the times we have come here.

The WiFi is very fast and free.
