Lovely hotel for 127 years old
Quirky location at the shipping pier.
Lovely to watch the ships come in to port
Not the tourist side of GT Yarmouth so it is fairly quiet and tranquil.
Dinner menu is good with some nice varieties

Dog friendly outside but not indoors. The outdoor area has glass shields to keep the wind from you. There is plenty of outdoor seating.
You have to order at the bar and then table service outside.
We celebrated my 30th yesterday as a group of 7 people. Staff were able to provide a good service.
All meals were top quality food. Highly recommend.
My Grandma has a wheelchair and the hotel is wheelchair friendly and has a disabled toilet.
View of Gorleston Beach is incredible from the hotel.

Saturday 24th August I had my retirement due in the Vino room would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who worked that day for making it a memorable occasion, many thanks to April for getting us a table for the guest book and the flowers she put on it, we highly recommend the Pier.

Took my in-laws there on their arrival on holiday a few weeks back for evening meal in the restaurant. Lovely menu, great friendly efficient service, the whole experience enjoyed by everyone and an excellent start to their holiday in Gorleston.

As local residents for years now The Pier Hotel at Gorleston has been our "watering hole" & community hub. We sing it's praises wherever we go. The staff are always courteous, welcoming & effcient. The food is good the chef works to a high standard. Rooms clean, comfortable with exquisite sea views.

A lovely clean hotel on the beach front. We had a free upgrade to the sunshine suite which was a nice suprise. Very comfy and spacious. The view was nice apart from railings and solar panels outside the window which meant a slight obstructive view of the lovely beach. A
cute little cut out with chairs overlooking the harbour on the second floor. Food was nice, staff friendly. Not a cheap stay but nice. Lifts available for those who need. Location is lovely but not much to do in the area

I go frequently. It's quite smart but comfortable. Situated at the end of of one of my favourite beaches in all the world and with good food

Got to have a little moan went to pick serviettes ect from the entrance today greeted by a pot with dog ends in next to them. Not what you would expect In fact very off putting.To be honest dog ends everywhere out side by the tables as well.

Great location right on the beach. Excellent food and staff. Not long had a complete refit.

Went to have a look to see we're film Yesterday was filmed, had pint inside. Completely different inside good atmosphere.

Stayed here in the mid 70s and a couple of times since,the food and service are first class so I have no hesitation in recommending the Pier Hotel

A man on reception kindly drove me to the hospital for my hospital appointment at James Paget Hospital when I was late. I made it on time and that was extremely helpful for me. It was an exceptional act of kindness and helped me out tremendously. I am very grateful.

This place.nwber disappoints: Excellent food, drink & service adjacent to the beach, all wrapped pull in an art deco setting. There's free parking too.

My three friends and I had lunch on Saturday at The Pier. Our experience was perfect in every way; I could not fault anything.
The restaurant was delightful, the staff were excellent and our meals were delicious.
This was the best meal out that I have had this year.
I urge you to try this place!

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very good in every aspect although our room was a little small. The food was excellent we ate in the bar every evening. Wife has complex dietary issues which were dealt with smoothly and effectively. Free car park. Would definitely stay again.
