Was meeting up with family in Whitstable and the prices of Airbnb's in the area are obscene. So we decided on here. 4 vans across the park and everyone was happy, right on the beach with playpark, bar and restaurant on site. The management of the bar needs to be better handled as any more than 2 people ordering and you waiting far too long but this can be accepted to some degree. They have entertainment on at the bar so the kids can be kept amused so al good there.

My only real complaint is that on the Tuesday around 6pm a fight broke out between 2 women they were both clearly very intoxicated and in my view shouldn't of been served for quite some time before that they were plastered. There was no security on hand and required several bloke to intervene to stop any further escalation. For this to happen when there were families with young children enjoying the lead up to bingo was very poor. As I say the bar area need to be reviewed as I think there needs to be better management/oversight of the area to improve service and avoid any reoccurrence that I witnessed.

On the seawall at Whitstable, 15 minutes walk one way to Whitstable, 30 minutes to Tankerton, the other way. Lovely pod we stayed in. Recently renovated site, friendly staff, clean &smart club building, laundry room, outdoor swimming pools, play area for kids of all ages. We took our camping kitchen & mini fridge. Relaxing and easy drive to Whitstable, Herne Bay, Tankerton, Margate, Ramsgate & Broadstairs. Lovely beach just the other side of the wall, empty oyster shells and beautiful stones, make the beach look beautiful.

Lovely area, walking distance of the town/beach/pubs, friendly staff and fellow holiday makers, would recommend to anyone for a nice break away from it all

I wouldn't leave any less thank 5 stars as we love this location but we experienced serious failings during our recent stays.

Having spent hours on the road, my family and I arrived at the park around 6pm. I presented my booking information and the worse case scenario occured. I was told that there had been a mistake with my booking and there was no space at the holiday park for us.
After waiting an hour or so I was offered a pod, which was not adequate for a family of 5, and lacked the amenities of the 3 Bedroom chalet I had booked.

An hour or so later it was proposed that my family and I travelled a 'nearby' holiday park, 40 minutes or so away. I declined this offer as my three children had already spent hours on the road and we had specifically booked this resort as we're all very fond of it, having stayed here many times before. When booking I had received a discount as an innocent occured previously where the chalet owner, who was apparently uninformed of our stay, had walked into my wife and children one evening, while I was away working. Clearly a lot can be done with the way bookings are handled!

The manager, who was put in an awkward situation himself, having spent hours by now trying to help us, eventually managed to find a vacant chalet at the resort where we could stay for one night, and found another chalet for the remaining two nights of our stay. Although both were smaller than we had booked, it was at least a viable solution which allowed the kids the holiday we had promised.

The following morning I learned that when booking over phone on the 22nd of May the person handling my call had put us down as staying between the 19th-22nd of May, in the past! I paid over the phone and received a receipt for the transaction but I was not sent a confirmation email. Somehow the unique booking reference on my receipt was not unique, and belonged to one of our previous stays. It was quite a mess to say the least. This, on top of the fact we had received a discount due to the previous stay's incident was beyond 'unlucky'. The only saving grace was the way the park's staff handled the situation, and I want to express my gratitude for their help.

Hopefully next time we stay it'll be third time lucky!

Really well run, Club Manager made our visit top draw! Couldn't do enough for us.
Stayed in spotless Pods for 2 nights with partner and son with a friend (13yr olds) and 2 small dogs, Location had something for everyone.
Staff really friendly, food nice, place so well kept. Will return in Summer.

Had the best weekend here with grandkids, close to beach. Pool times were shocking u could only book the day before, so when we arrived we couldn't use even though it was half empty. U got 45 mins but only 1 session per day.
Other than that we had a good time.

Great facilities and you really couldn't be any closer to the beach. Price was very reasonable and the staff were so friendly. I had to get a taxi back from town but it only cost about £6 and was well worth it with the weather being a bit off! Definitely recommend and will be taking the family next time.

Seaview Holiday Park.... What a real GEM to find. Fabulous location on the Seafront.. walking distance either left to Whitstable or right to Herne Bay.

The park was easy to find, although the road down to the park was a tad narrow, so be careful.. plus no pavement either for walking (although we walked with no problems)

Check in was swift and smooth, the lady was very polite and helpful. We were pleased to know that the shower/toilet block was locked using a code and there was a barrier for vehicles both in and out of the park. Security looked good.

We toured here in our campervan for 5 nights (Sun-Fri), our pitch was hardcore with grass to the side. We had an electric hook up in easy reach with drinking water taps. We were a little concerned that the taps were situated alongside the electric on the same unit.. albeit it didn't actually cause any problems.

The other campers were all very friendly too, a really lovely pleasant atmosphere, loved it.

We struggled to find the bins, or any signage to assist. Having walked around we located one industrial type bin enclosed in fencing, heading from the toilet block to the seawall and further ones to the left, again towards the seawall. Having found them, all was good.

We never used the pool or the facilities of the bar/restaurant, shop or laundrette so cannot comment. To use the pool however, you still needed to book a slot, we did hear people complaining about the system but not sure of the details as to why.

So, in terms of the shower/toilet block.. the idea of code entry is fantastic but unfortunately it would appear the door was not kept shut; therefore accessible to everyone. This led to children 'playing' inside with bits of wood, and dogs off leads just wandering in.. (one being large and intimidating with an unpleasant owner).. It would appear the park team are trying to keep the place safe and clean, but clearly other people are letting them down, we were puzzled as to why the security guy always walked by, leaving the doors wide open though? Another oddity at night the out barrier was often raised and vehicles entering just used this to get in.

The shower/toilet block itself was ok in terms of clean, but more could be done. Some parks have squeegees for guests to use to remove the excess water. There were none here, so the dry area ended up being wet, and with dirty shoes made it unclean to step into. The toilets were cleaned, but from what we saw, too much time was spent buffing the sinks than cleaning the showers, the shower tray/grate or plug hole part.

The showers were push button, powerful enough and warm-hot temperature; lovely.

There was a washing up area and easy to use chemical waste point. It was a shame that other users didn't clean up after their use, bottles of beer, cigarette butts left on the draining board, along with food debris in the plug. Once again the park and staff let down by others here.

The grounds of the park were immaculate and groundsman was cutting the grass at various times around movement of campers.

There were two pubs in walking distance, The Hampton Inn (along seafront towards Hearne Bay) and The Plough (Head back out of the main entrance), enjoyed a drink in both during our stay.

We also used a lovely Chinese; A&R Chinese, who delivered to us at the entrance, we would use again when we stay next.

All in all... an amazing park for touring. A great location. All of the staff were really helpful, amazing, fabulous and friendly... It was a real shame to witness a couple of caravan users being abusive to staff, really unnecessary and rude. As far as we are concerned the staff were really trying their best and were lovely. We will certainly be returning here.. Great, great, great site.

Thank you

The visit to Seaview was the first time I'd ever stayed in a caravan. Not knowing what to expect we were very pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. The caravan was clean with new fittings on the sinks and bathrooms etc... The bed was quite comfy and had fresh linens as advertised. The reception staff were also fantastic and made us feel at home. Any requests were taken care of with a smile. The entertainment provided by Dave and Ashleigh was much appreciated, too, as was the friendly bar staff. The location of the park is perfect for exploring both of the nearby towns with ease with a short walk to the beach. All in all couldn't have asked for a better stay and would love to go back soon.

Have always stayed here when visiting Whitstable.
After staying in caravans, done camping in tents and last year stayed in pod.
Decided to upgrade to lodge...which was amazing.
Beautiful lodge, lovely views out to sea.
Cant wait to book again and would have done but dates not available yet for lodges.
Great location. 👍☀🤗

I have been coming here for over 45 years. I love this place. The upgrades have been fantastic. The friendliness of staff and fellow holidaymakers is second to none. In the last two years I have brought friends who usually go to Essex sites. They’ve all said this location and atmosphere is just so superior!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Just the best x

Stayed here a few times while having building work done at home. Ended up buying a caravan here. The site is level with easy access. There is a ramp to get to the sea wall and pebble beach. If you are fit enough you can walk along the sea wall to Whitstable and Herne Bay. A lot of work has been done here in the past year, entertainment complex is now bigger and better and New children's play area. Area's of caravan's and lodge's have been built. Only problem on the park is, not enough parking.

We are owners, and it is great to go to go to Seaview and relax with the lovely seaviews and the beachside walk. The clubhouse is a pleasant space for eating, drinking, and karaoke. Seaview is our 'happy place'.

Seaview is the best located holiday park in the South East!
Having looked around at loads of different sites, Seaview came out on top. You can walk or cycle along the sea front for miles in each direction, its the only one that you can do this from easily. Whitstable is on one side and Herne Bay is on the other. There are loads of things to see and do, places to eat etc, so plenty to cater for all tastes.
There is Canterbury 10 mins away, Margate just down the road, Ramsgate and Broadstairs only a bit further with a massive shopping park inbetween, with all the popular big stores present. If you want smaller and more unique shops, then back to Whitstable, Herne Bay & Canterbury.
There are a few nature reserves and animal places to visit, so if nature is your thing....
For Art, you have galleries around with changing exhibitions in Whitstable and of course the Tate in Margate.
So given all the above, Seaview is the best located and even has a heated outside pool from April to the end of September!
There is a club house with a big and restaurant along with kids entertainment. There is also a small shop which is great for the basics including fresh bread, croissants and newspapers.
Importantly, the staff are great, helpful and friendly.
So full marks all round!

Beautiful quiet site right next to the sea. Has an outdoor swimming pool. Have been here a couple of times now as it's central to visiting other areas
