Yummy 😋 fish and chips, best in the area although there is always a wait probably because it is so popular... atmosphere is alright if you decide to dine in

5 star all round. I had the spam fritters and chips, husband had the medium cod and chips. More than generous portion sizes. Attentive staff, great service.

Normally go to Sunset fish bar but they had cooking issues today so spoke to a local who recommended Deans Plaice.
Food arrived quick and was piping hot, all the ladies serving were smiley, polite and very helpful.
Was 6 of us, 3 dads snd 3 kids and we were all fed and watered perfectly.
Will undoubtedly be coming to you guys every time we visit from now on.
Keep up the good work snd thank you for feeding us 👍

Had fish 🐟 n chips 🍟 here yesterday (rock) and (plaice) while the festival was on. Great fresh food with amazing friendly service, chips were fantastic 😋 with clean white fish 🐟 very tasty. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Cracking food, staff and a first class service right across the board. Premises/restaurant is spotlessly clean and tidy. Loads of indoor seating. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The chips were so delicious! So reasonably priced and good portions too! Weren’t too sure as I saw the Google reviews first but then I had the chips and the reviews just don’t do them enough justice! There wasn’t not even one bad chip in the bag! Perfect portion size! Sat by the Herne Bay clock tower right opposite the chippy and thoroughly enjoyed my chips so did my hubby!!!

You cant miss them as they are opposite the clock tower along the sea front.

We had cod and chips on Sunday at Dean's plaice and what a treat. Beautifully cooked food, fresh cod, really crispy batter and great chips. The service was excellent and the price was good.

Best cup of tea...I like it strong and it was perfect. SMALL haddock, chips and mushy peas...don't go large unless you are really hungry...I couldn't finish mine. Very friendly and efficient service. 👌

My only concern is I don't need a mass of potatoes. Honestly 1/4 portion is ample.

Very friendly staff indeed. Some how we got talking about 70s Rock Music. Cooked me a very fresh cod and chips just check out the picture.

Great food with prompt service. Went on Sunday and free parking for whole day if you look carefully.

Got takeaway chips and scampi. Didn't take long, service is fast. Staff are friendly. The food was fresh and tasted really good. Not expensive for the portion size too. Great place, highly recommend

After a 12km walk we fancied Fish n Chips. We were lucky to have found Dean’s Plaice open. Friendly welcoming staff & the fish n chips were absolutely cooked to perfection & large portion of chips alongside. Good cuppa too. Highly recommend. Thank you.
