Sainsbury's

Lots of space at this store, parking and in the aisles. The stock situation is very good in terms of range and availability. Staff are pleasant as are the customers. Only downside are the small queues at check outs which could be reduced if more people scan and go. Try it and you won't go back. Hopefully the bread slicer will soon be repaired.

Excellent.. a lady on clothing was kind enough to extensively search for a child's white polo top that I urgently needed. I am very grateful to her for her politeness and helpfulness, many shops would have just said NO ! she said let me help.

Easy Parking, Great for all kinds of goods that are needed, everything placed right.

Large, clean shop with everything you need. In particular, I want to shout out to Molly - we had visited friends in Herne Bay and stopped here to grab a few bits on the way home. When we got home, 45 minutes away, it turned out we'd lost one of my children's soft toys, a little orange fox.
I found the store's number online and got through to Molly, who was really helpful and said she's put a message in the employee's chat to see if anyone had handed Foxy in. About ten minutes later she called me back and confirmed they'd found Foxy and would keep her safe overnight so I could get and collect her the next day (We were too far away to get back before closing, nor did I want to repeat the drive straight away!). That meant my little one could go to sleep knowing Foxy was safe and would be back the next day.
Thank you so much Molly and your colleagues, that really made a difference and prevented a lot of upset!

A couple of times I have had reason to ask for help at the checkouts. Amy, twice now, has gone over and above sorting out my problem; the last time especially appreciated as I lost 2 debit cars in the parking area, only to find out they'd been handed in by a good citizen, and Amy came to the rescue. Bravo, Amy: 11 outta 10, my dear, on the Google Review! Nice.

We in Herne Bay have waited a long time for our first big supermarket, so it's nice to have been rewarded with the North Kent coast's best.

Car parking is easy in the capacious spaces on the large and easily accessible car park. The shop is well stocked, and the Argos and home and fashion sections are an added bonus.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Well done Sainsbury's and well done Herne Bay (which is much, much better than its overpriced, tourist-trap neighbour Whitstable)

Very large store but no restuarant but with petrol stationa few minutes from hern bay town as always good service

Actually went into Sainsbury's after going to the gym next door for the first time. I was dreading going in to be honest, not a fan of big supermarkets but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! There were good levels of stock and even managed to get a strawberry tart for my mum. This was actually a big deal because the other Sainsbury's I use don't have a cake section anymore. The moment I was dreading arrived - checkout! Ordinarily, I'm faced with self service checkouts which I won't use, they either open a till or I leave the stuff behind BUT, I was very happy to see humans scanning everyone's shopping. And not only that, they were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again, not least because my mum loved the strawberry tart!

The fast charger at Sainsburys for our van was just what we needed, very close to the main road

Today was the opening day, so my review might be filled with the amazement of seeing a new building.
But I shall say that it is quite impressive, very big, with sections for most products you could want to get from a supermarket.
There is also a cafe on the second floor, which is nice for anyone wanting something to eat.
I was also surprised to see an Argos inside, they have their own little area in one of the corners of the building.
The place was packed full, as you can imagine it would be on the opening day, people clearly seemed excited to check out this new place to shop!
The car park is also well designed, with a footpath going down the centre to easily leave by foot or to get to your car.
Overall I'm hopefully that this Sainsbury's will find Herne Bay a nice place to stay 😊

Good amount of parking, clean, has a Argos in store which is convenient.

Great items and great value for money, highly recommend shop.

Stunning and truly amazing shopping experience. Sainsbury's is awsome with the whole selection of products and the aisles are so spacious and room for everyone. Makes shopping on Saturday a treat and lovely .even on a rainy windswept Saturday 😌👍

By far the best Sainsbugs I've ever seen, clothing section second to none and groceries for all, cleanest store so far!
