Ordered food from here for the 1st time tonight & will definitely visit again. Chips were perfect & tasted lovely & my parents enjoyed their cod. Very friendly service, & even better, they give 10% discount with a Blue Light Card.

At last fish and chips I enjoyed. large cod and chips and it was large with nice tasty crisp batter, fish made up of white chunks if fish. When I got home and unwrapped the chips feel out nice and crisp,not a ball of white mushy potato. All served by nice friendly staff can't ask for more than that.

The only place we could find in the evening in Gorleston on Sea to buy fish and chips. The counter staff were friendly. The place was very clean and there were plenty of choices of different fish and other foods. Our fish and chips were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The portions were huge and we ordered medium fish and two small chips for 3 people. We added curry sauce to our order which looked really thick, but tasted delicious. If we visit Gorleston again we will definitely return to buy our fish and chips.

Helpful staff, great prices, clean inside and staff wear masks.
Cod and chips freshly cooked and tasty, good size cod and plenty of chips.
Battered sausage again freshly cooked and tasty, saveloy was perfect and tasty with a good size portion of chips.

Will definitely return soon and given the option of phoning first to place the order.
Luckily I found a place outside otherwise a short walk.

From the customer service, quality of food, taste and portion- this is absolutely value for money.
We had medium cods with chips and there is something beautiful about the batter. My husband had the spicy crab cakes which are an absolute must. My only go to 'Plaice' when in Gorleston- you can see why this is award winning.

Having checked the reviews (on here and on another well-known site) we walked 10 minutes from the beach for fish and chips from My Plaice. We were not disappointed. The large haddock was enough for two, and the chips, made from chunky potatoes, were fresh and well cooked. The batter on the fish was well seasoned and crispy, and the large curry sauce tasty without being too spicy. Well worth the 10 minute walk, and Susan put in cutlery, serviettes, and trays to allow me to share the food between the two of us. The Bank Holiday Monday may have been cool and overcast, but the fish and chips made our weekend.

Wow Service and amazing fish and chips. We hadn’t visited since it changed hands so we were a little nervous. We were on holiday so thought we’d pop in. The service was fantastic cooked to order by Neal and served by Anita. The fish was amazing and Neal kindly cooked some scraps for us.The portions are huge and great value. We will definitely be back when we are up again. Cooked to order and tasted so nice who could resist.

Lovely sausage and chips. Looked clean. Staff were polite. Pleased it was open! Husband even got scraps, he was very happy!

Fresh and hot and good portions. Can bring them down on anything, they even cook veggie things in a separate fryer.

The fish was really fresh, the batter crispy and not at all greasy. The chips were also tasty and freshly prepared. I was not sold on the mushy peas.

By far hands down the best Fish and Chip shop in Gorleston and a good 20 mile radius of Gorleston! Great food cooked to perfection and realistic prices. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Great food!!! The fish and chips were delicious. Not greasy at all. Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had
