Absolutely lovely weekend. Not only is the surroundings peaceful the accommodation is perfect for a short break. Everything you need. Was there for a hen weekend, Lynn and Ian are the most thoughtful and kind hosts I've ever come across. Highly recommend

We hired out the whole site for a hen do and it could not have been more ideal. The setting was wonderful, tents really well-equipped and beds super comfy. Having the party tent was great too, for some communal space. Lynne and Ian were excellent hosts, very welcoming and on hand instantly if we needed anything.

Absolutely lovely weekend for my friend's hen party. Lovely huts, extremely comfy beds, secluded campsite, amazing hosts! Lynne & Ian were so incredibly accommodating, and gave us lots of local recommendations, as well as a list of great activities run by people who can come to the meadow. There were also some chickens which laid some eggs for our breakfast on Sunday. If you are looking for somewhere to go with friends and family, I could not recommend this more.

Perfect weekend with the family, plenty for the kids to do and explore! Amazing night listening to live music around the camp fire and toasting marshmallows. The lodge was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay! The hosts were fantastic with the kids, including my youngest in the activity( target shooting) which made his day! A weekend that truly brought the family closer together! Definatly recommend! Xx

Just returned from a 3 night break here. We had a fantastic stay in the Jenny wren tent, having never camped before this was ideal with certain home comforts I would not have been able to do without, proper beds and lovely bedding, hot shower, running by water, a proper toilet and extras that made it special like a got tub and a delicious cake on arrival. Our little boy loved having our own chickens and seeing it laid and then eating it- you can't get fresher than that! Lynne and Ian the hosts could not do enough for us and when we were struggling to get the fire going happily came down to sort us out at 9.30pm. what can I say highly recommend this place for a break from the daily grind, a step back to the basic pleasures and escape from social media, TV etc... Happy glampers! Thanks Lynne and Ian for making it special for us xx

Just back from a relaxing stay at Hidden Meadows - we would definitely recommend. The kids loved having hens next to our tent, and collecting eggs was a real treat. Lynne, our host, clearly works very hard to ensure that guests have everything they need to make their stay enjoyable. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The beautiful log burner was amazing at warming up the tent first thing in the morning and in the evenings, so despite the cold weather we were warm and cozy! i am sure, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed as a family of four at Hidden Meadows in October half term and had an amazing time. We really enjoyed walking around the wider site along the stream and fishing in the pond. The real highlight was our evening campfires and eating from the tent’s own barbecue and pizza oven. The tent was very comfortable and well equipped (we stayed when it was chilly at night but we stayed warm with the help of the wood-burning stove and the cosy bedding). The bathroom facilities are much better than I had expected – modern, clean and flushing!

Lynne and Ian are great hosts – very friendly, welcoming and responsive! Highly recommended.

Hidden meadows is a lovely place. Very relaxing and great for kids. Our two loved the chickens!
Everything was thought of from comfy beds to toys for the kids. Even though it was March, we were very cosy with the log burner.
Lynne and Ian are very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay great. We'll definitely be coming back.

Honestly what a wonderful weekend we had , just sorry we couldn't stay longer. Even in the pouring rain it was a treat . The grass under my feet as i walked bare foot right from the carpark was just magic and the feeling of clean sheets after a soak in the hot tub is priceless , everything we needed was there and what wasn'twe bought with us .

We had a perfect weekend here with friends for my husband's birthday in July. The safari tents are much bigger than they look and lovely and cosy, the grounds are spacious and really hidden away, and Lynne and Ian went the extra mile to make our stay perfect, even baking a homemade birthday cake and ordering platters of locally sourced seafood for our first night. Highly recommend.

Suitable for families with toddlers and young children, the site comprises 3 tents alongside each other. Each tent is well equipped and has its own outside toilet and shower and a chicken coop. A fun time had by all! Ian and his wife are very welcoming and accomodating hosts and I would love to return one day.

Just been to hidden meadows for my friends hen do & wow. What a place! Lynne & Ian"s hospitality is second to none. All the extra effort is absolutely wonderful.
At one point Lynne & I were sitting in the shade having a chat just about life and it was lovely to be able to do that again!!

Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful. I will be back again, even if it's just to get some of your wonderful cakes!!!
11/10 from me 😁

Just left after spending the week here , Ian and Lynne are 1st class hosts , site is fantastic with the great touch of fresh eggs each morning from the resident hens. Nothing is an issue for the owners , we had an issue and without any expectations Ian was there 10mins later soting it out , cannot recommend here enough.

Just returned from the most beautiful weekend at Hidden Meadows. As first time glampers we were unsure of what to expect but we are over the moon with our experience and have made many happy memories we will remember always :)
Our two year old daughter absolutely loved the outdoors and the surroundings are so calm and beautiful.. we got fresh eggs for breakfast from the chickens which we all enjoyed and the home baked cake by our host Lynne was beautifully made and very thoughtful.. Upon arrival and throughout our stay both Lynne and Ian were extremely welcoming and helpful to point us in the direction of places to eat, nice walks etc.

The glamping tent itself is truly divine, extremely comfortable and has a real homely feel .. we will definitely be returning to Hidden Meadows and want to thank Lynne and Ian for a wonderful getaway :) xx

Wonderful little glamping site. Just 3 safari tents in a beatiful enclosed meadow (which we saw deer running accross). Great bathroom hut, really comfy beds and nice linen. Equipped with everything you need. Lynne and Ian are lovely hosts too.
